Thanks for the warm welcome everyone - what a friendly place! Have sorted out my meal plan till next Friday - and my shopping list is only about 10 items long! :j Using up stuff in the freezer and reaching use by dates in the cupboards - so just some fresh meat and veg to buy. Yeah! Should be a good start to the grocery challenge.

Afternoon ... Thanks everybody for the good wishes ... Viewing is at 5:30 so I should have some progress either way by this evening ... I'm really nervous now ... No appetite ... Doesn't help cos the heat makes me nauseous anyway ... It is a bit cooler today (Shez/Churchmouse - there has been a bit of rain, I was still awake at 1am and there were a couple of showers down my way (my way being the Blackfen end of Welling)) but thanks to a meeting on another site, I've already had a two-way commute on the Northern Line this morning :( ... I soooooo hope this flat is suitable and available ... It would mean no more daily trains or tubes - I'd have the considerably cheaper and more flexible options of "bus, bike or boots" instead :j :j :j ... Sorry, am being really self-obsessed today ... Moggins, the tent sounds like a good buy ... Overbudget, welcome ... Good to have you back Freyaluck ... Good luck TM with your business venture! ... Anyway ... catch you later ... Rzl xx

Bean's been doing some wriggling recently. We seem to have spurts just before lunch time and just before I go to bed. Makes OH happy as he just lies on the bed next to me with his hand on my tummy. Every so often I'll get a comment like "did you feel that one?". Cue a roll of the eyes.

Its making him really happy to feel the movements, espeically as he can't remember feeling anything with his older girls (they're nowt to do with me). In fact I'd say he's a little amazed at how much he can feel. He always seems to have this smirk on his face.

However, even though bean's been more active recently I am still managing to sleep through the night. In fact this morning I didn't even hear OH's alarm go off at 4am today.

Have a Tesco shop coming later on today which OH will receive and process. I have already given him instructions to keep an eye on the special offers, and to get stuff in the freezer asap. However, what I will come home to god only know.

But he does know exactly what's coming as he insisted on standing over my shoulder as I sorted the order out. He wanted to make sure I hadn't ordered too much rubbish. I think the idea is that if it isn't in the house, and the girls want it over the next couple of weeks (ie chocolate, crisps etc...) then they will have to go out and buy it themselves.

At some point I also need to print off directions for our various trips with the girls next week.

Other than that...there is nothing to do, as the house is clean and tidy, and OH did the washing yesterday.

Tea will be whatever OH picks out from the stuff that's being delivered. I do like surprises.

    Kaz I've done them, I've made welshcakes!!:D :D:D:D:D

They are brill!! DS4 came downstairs saying "I can smell tastiness" so he got to try them warm (well he is mummy's favourite, he's hoovered today!!:rotfl: ) He adored them and thinks I'm really clever, I'm not telling how easy they were! Oh and you did say didn't you that their calorie-free, something to do with the way you mix the ingredients?:rotfl:

After my pestering about the spice measure mine were done without any! I went to the cinnamon pot and it was empty!!!icon9.gif
Now what moron would put it back empty? Hmm, who cooks in this house? That'd be me then!!:o :o

Have to say the trickiest bit was doing them in a frying pan, as I don't have a griddle. I did them two at a time and quickly learned the temp and timing.
The last four were perfect, even if I say it myself. BUT I'm sorely tempted by that griddle you pointed out to moggins, was it? Maybe, just maybe I deserve it for having quit smoking 5 months ago now!!

I'm really forgetting my manners today!! Big hugs and thankyous Kaz for your faultless instructions!!! I couldn't have done it without ya!!!

At last! I've earned enough pigsback points to order my first voucher. I opted for pizza hut, as we quite often pop in there pre-rugby matches. My quidco account is also looking quite healthy as I've spent a fortune on train travel this month (all to be reimbursed by work of course!).
Have stripped the bed this morning (DH's pillow was looking decidedly yucky after all these sweaty nights) & done some washing up, but that's pretty much it (apart from work of course ;))
Lunch was a tomato & mozzarella salad & dinner is going to be thai green curry. Hopefully tonight will be cool enough to go to the gym - haven't been able to face it all week.
Hello to everyone - especially overbudget, "streaky legs" moggins, Mrs Morten Harkett and Bargain "homeowner" Rzl :D. Hope everyone feeling rough feels better soon. I'm off to Tesco's now to treat myself to a Pukka pad (oh yeah, and to do the shopping as well!)
