    Morning all

It's overcast, breezy and damp here this morning, it didn't rain much overnight but enough to make the grass perk up a bit. We were all sitting in the garden at 9pm last night watching the huge clouds bank up over the channel but sadly there wasn't a storm.

Just had some more good news in the post from the CSA this morning my ex tried to lie on the forms and they dropped his payment to £16 a week - it's taken them 28 weeks to sort it but he's now got to pay £69 a week + £1066 in back payments - as you can imagine - it's a very welcome outcome (well - for me anyway).

I'm not working until Monday now so can spend the day caching up with all the stuff that wasn't done in the heat.

Talking of heat - I opened the curtains today as there's no sun to shine through and found my gorgeous tall holey candle in one molten spoldge on the window sill......oooops....it's all melted into the net curtain so will have to sort that out later.....I'm thinking iron and paper...any other suggestions???

1st job on the list is to go sort the car tax online, more expense!

    Have a great day all.

DD finishes school next Tuesday:D They have the afternoon off but in school grounds, so they can speak to whomever and say their goodbyes. DD is going to be upset as none of her friends are going with her, but she has bought gifts for her friends, has a shirt that they are all signing and has bought some cheapie eggs and flour to play fight with:rolleyes:

    Morning folks :D

Was woken at 5.30 by a thunderstorm so it's nice and cool here ATM and the gardens have had a good soaking. Luckily have donw most of my laundry over the past few days, especially he stuff that needs lots of drying, like bedding and dressing gowns etc.

So, by 6am, was downstairs with a cuppa and a notepad, brainstorming madly. My mind was working overtime, so thought I may as well get it on paper - I'm on my way to making my first million (ok, still on the starting grid, but looking forward ....) I won't tell you what my venture will be, just yet, but I've been thinking long these lines for a while now and it all came together a couple of weeks ago and so it's ahead full steam :j :j

I have DS2 all day so after a shower, will be doing some general clearing up. I have to go into town to run some errands (mainly for Mr TM it seems) DW is already on and will put a banana loaf inthe BM shortly. Sorted some of the attic storage room out last night, cos DS2's mate got in there yesterday and decided to "move" everything  Anyway, I now have 6 bags waiting for the charity shop so I WILL sort out it's collection or drop off today. Need to phone the plumber and make an appointment as I have a few jobs for him too.

Rzl - hope the viewing goes OK hun. A lady of property then? Let us know about the house warming :D

Nels - sleep? She doesn't need sleep at night - she spends all day in the garden, asleep on the sunlounger :D (*ducks*)

Hope everyone else is OK and ((hugs)) to those ill or with sick loved ones.

    TM xxx

    Overbudget, hello and welcome!

    Morning!

Goodness the thread is quite long already! Well this is the day! In a couple of hours we will be on our way to the hospital with dd for her wisdom tooth op. She is now on clear liquids only but in this heat that isn't really a problem. I have just made up some jelly for her if she wants something later and have some smoothies bought in and ingredients to make our own up. Sadly dd was quite sick last time she had a general anesthetic so prepared for that again.

Trying to think of other soft foods she could manage? Catowen I must find your posts on the subject.

Am not even going to try to plan anything else today though it is still very warm here and washing will dry very quickly (dd has bought a bit back with her).

Well have a good day everyone, Glad you enjoyed the concert Manicdays!
