Morning all,
Just had to take my scissors to the toilet and cut the lining out of my dress, thought linen would be perfect for today had reckoned without horrible polyester lining. Colleagues thought I was mad but I feel so much more comfortable now.
Work today so nothing very OS, DH holiday has officially started so he's demob happy, i still have today and tomorrow to go.
OS style, nothing much, got a wash done and hung out before I left. Still haven't done a deep clean on the house before hols, will do that Friday morning whilst DH is sleeping .It's weird I can happily clean around 2 kids but cannot clean with DH around. It's perfectly tidy at the moment I just like to leave it spotless while we are away.
DS and DD were in bed by 8 last night, they are still pooped, think thats just going to be the way until we get to Spain. DD is pretty horrid with it though.
Glad to hear Ted is back, hope those feeling under the weather feel better soon.
Dinner tonight, turkey breasts, cous cous and salad.
Enjoy your day all!!

You mob of wussies!!!
 Hot :rotfl::rotfl:Well it's freezing here, I"m sitting here in my winter pj's, dressing gown, bed socks & slippers.
Tea went down quite well.Although DH said afterward the sauce was starchy or something?
If only he knew.
Rang up DYS. Seems in better spirits tonight. He still was unsure what he's got and asked me did I ask the sister. I said no, not this time. He thinks he might be released tomorrow but he sounds far from well enough to be let out IMO. I told him what I thought he had.Made him laugh anyway.
BRzl Positive vibes being sent your way. Hope it goes well. Are you nervous?

I am glad when I can go home in just over two hours. At least I can open some windows...
Although there seems to be something stranke going on in our flat building, there were A LOT of dead flies in the hallway this morning. I am a bit worried. Don't know where they have come from and also, why they are all dead. It looks freaky...
I am so glad when me and the oh are moving away from Hackney in a few months! It is cheap here, but the things you have to put up with... (we have had everything, from bedbugs to cockroaches) and on top of that our shower has been BROKEN for the last two weeks  and the landlady is not particularily helpful. I am getting married next week! I want to have a shower before the ceremony!!0 -

Manicdays - enjoy yourself!
Snowy: glad he's back! typical cat!!!!
Catznine & Kaz:Kaz - Were you at Stormy Down in all that rain? We only lasted until 11am, when the rain started to come in sideways at us, and then gave up!! Oh for a bit of that rain now!
BRzl: hope all goes well with mortgage
Hi to everyone else, too!
I'm late on here today, because I have been working hard on finishing the month's menu plan & shopping list, as well as the usual other jobs. This has been a good excuse to sit out in the garden & enjoy the weather while it lasts!
Must be time for a cuppa now!! :coffee:
Have a good day!:D0 -

and I cant seem to get my kids off to sleep - they seem to be wide awake and it gets later and later! I even tried the drive in the car last nite - didnt work - came home cos petrol is soo expensive i couldnt afford to keep driving around all nite:D
lots of press/vip's arriving at motor show this morning, manicdays hope you enjoy the concert tonite, I might try and pop down see if i can hear it - if you go on the DLR platform I could see it for free ! (very OS) but i bet the police will be there to stop that!

Oh great Shez, I can look forward to that now!! I won't be able to see you waving:rotfl:
No you're not alone! I'd happily eat salad non-stop but DH and DS3 and DS4 are getting a bit bored, not that they complain, bless them!:D (probably 'cos they know they'd get their answer, if the truth be known!!:rotfl: ) But I can't face cooking. I had the cheek to call heating up M&S ready meals cooking yesterday! How desperate is that!:o
Well I'm off to Matalan,Asda and Office World so bye for now. God that car is going to be an oven on wheels, no air-con:mad:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
