    Morning all

    It's quiet here today :D

Snowy I am so glad Ted is home for you, he is a gorgeous boy isn't he!

Aussie - sorry but I had to laugh at your "mummy mind" if it is an STD hopefully he will have learnt his lesson this time?

Nothing much planned for today, it is just too hot and I want to enjoy a quiet day before the children break up. I have a book to read and I'm going to slip in the bath after the school run as I need to dye my hair, I'm starting to look like Cruella de Ville. All of which means I can sit in a nice cool bath whilst my hair is cooking and read my book at the same time :D

    Morning Guys

An unsettled night here but my brain is working overtime. Feeling low today and no energy at all, but am hoping this will improve as day goes on!

WM is on and will be hung on the line. DW wont need to go on till much later and toilet is cleaned. House is generally clean and tidy, so not much else needs doing.

OH & I are having a morning together indoors and not opening the door to anyone! May watch a film and just snuggle-think I need some cuddles today:o If it doesnt get too hot, may eat our lunch in the back garden and I'll try and get on the hammock:eek:   with the parasol over me:D

OH has said he wants to do some tidying up of the garden, so he can tidy and I can chat;) ....and delegate!! He has already done the windows.

Ive done DD's lunch for school. Its her 1st main performance of year 6 production today (Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat) and we have tickets for the one tomorrow...cant wait!

OH wants to go to the Motor show with his brother next week-does anyone know of any vouchers or codes for this?

    Breakie: Honey Nut Shreddies
Lunch: Coronation Chicken Baguette (treat from the deli)
Dinner: Lamb Cutlet, New Potatoes, Minted Peas & carrots

Anyway, Id better go as head is hurting and not focusing easily.

    Hugs everyone.

    PP

    Hello everybody,

Just had a disaster in the kitchen for tea but have re-constructured it into something edible. :D I've got some carbanora so will pass it off as something pasta-ish and they won't be none the wiser. I've got dishes all over the kitchen and need to get out of it for 5 mins before cleaning it all up.

Have a really strong cold wind here atm. Will be a cold night I think. Might go in for a hot bath after cleaning up the kitchen.

Glad to here OH shunt is fine Ageandjo. That sure sounds like a painful operation.

Cat - No on second thoughts I don't think that now. I just jumped to that conclusion as I felt something was being kept from me. I couldn't think of anything else he would keep from me. None of his symptoms correspond anyway. I will ring the hospital shortly to see how his day went. He is a very quiet lad, only left home this year (he's 22) after Xmas but has gone to live with his OB who is prone to lead anyone astray. I feel quite bad in writing that now. :o

Well I best go and clean up my mess. Talk later Byeeeeeeeeeeee
((((((hugs)))))) to those who are poorly or hot. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning everyone

I'm sick. Have a dreadful summer cold. So I can't breath which is great. The office is already too hot. There are health warnings over the heat today, especially for the elderly, young children, babies and those with breathing problems, like asthma. So I can't breath through nose, I have asthma and it's really hot in this office - can't wait for the temperature to really start going up:mad:

Was working till 10 o'clock last night and up again at 4am so feeling quite tired.

Had a hair cut last night. Instead of going to a salon, which costs £18, I had a hairdresser come to me, costing just £5:beer:

Have received my new bank card for a second current account. Now I can transfer cash I've earnt online to that. I don't like to give out the details to the one my wages get paid into:o I'm a bit wary of giving out things like that online as you just never know. So I plan to transfer the money and withdraw it

Must remember to harrass the boss about money he owes me too. We're meant to get the cash from sales of stories that go national, but he won't cough up. it's only about £12.50, but it's better than a slap in the face with a wet fish

Nan had another nasty turn last night. She was struck with very sharp pains in her chest again. She's 87 so I'm starting to get very worried now. She was fine when I left for my evening work appointment, but she looked so grey and ill when I got back.

Too hot to eat sarnie yesterday so predicting it won't be eaten today either.

    Hope everyone's ok

Morning all. Hope everyone has a good day and :grouphug: to all before it gets too hot and sweaty :rotfl:

OH was up early this morning to take the car to Kwik Fit - the man said "Drop it off at 7am", 8am OH gave up and has gone to work in it. Times like this I wish I could drive as we could have all got up early, dropped OH at work (40 minutes each way), took DD to school and dropped the car off myself and then picked it up later. Maybe, just maybe, I might be able to scrounge enough pennies together to pay for some lessons, but at a quote of £750 for 36 lessons (including discount  ) and then the increase on the insurance (Currently £7-800, would go up to over £1000!!!) it could be a while

Have to go and pay a cheque in to the bank first thing this morning, but since the bus pass I use (Cheaper then fares) doesn't become valid until 9.28 I'll have to wait until then. WM already done one load, about to put another in so that will be ready just before I leave for the bank ;)

DD is wanting the computer to play neopets now so I'd better go. Later

    Morning all :D

Hope everyone's ok, I haven't read the daily threads for a couple of days.

Washing is on the line, another load to go on in a mo.

The animals haven't been in their runs for a couple of days because it's too hot outside, they're very hot and restless so I've put the fan on next to the cages, they're lying flat out in the breeze :D

I've got a bit of ironing to do but it's too hot to do it.

I'm supposed to be at work but the office is way too hot so I'll jump on the bus, pick up the post and some paperwork and jump back on the bus to work at home. Remote access is a wonderful thing :T

Errrrr, did I mention - it's hot :rotfl:

    morning all..

on monday i commented how i was feeling emotional as this was my babys last week at primary well today it happened i waved her off and then sat down and cried why i havnt a clue but by the end of the week im going to be a basket case, leavers show thursday night, tissues a plenty and she has warned me not to cry friday when i pick her up lol, have to pick her up friday as she will have a lot to carry otherwise would leave her to walk home as normal..

she is having a sleepover for 6 friends on saturday night a sort of end of primary school and leaving peterborough party, i decided this morning to treat her and ive book a limo to drive her and her friends around for half hour.. Its her dream to be in a limo and she thinks she cant do it till she leaves secondary school.. The price was much cheaper than i thought, so no doubt more tears from me on saturday.

Today i have 2 viewings for my house one at 10 and one at 3pm.. Ive had a few offers for my house but not from anyone who is actually in a position to buy, ie they havnt sold there house yet.. My estate agent is working like a trouper cant fault them ..

right off now to hoover up try to make the house look presentable with loads of boxes around as only 2 weeks till i go arghhhhhhhhh
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
