Just as so many of you assured me Teddy strolled in the door this evening without a care in the world. Silly boy! He wasn't thirsty and he wasn't hungry - one of my friends says he is two-timing me. Hmmmm....

Anyway, here's his picture, you can see how much of a drop dead gorgeous heart squeeze he is:

I love this picture, though he's easy to photograph as he is a poser and naturally photogenic.

I can't begin to tell you how tired I am tonight...only got about three hours sleep last night all because of Teddy Boy, may have to resort to matchsticks tomorrow at w***.

    Night All!

36_1_33.gif Yipee!! What a relief Snowy!!!

He's one drop dead gorgeous boy!!

I imagine you feel like many a parent whose child strolls in and you don't know whether to hug them with relief or kill the little b*ggers!!!

So glad your "torture" is over (this time!!!!) get a good night's sleep!!
    Love CM xx

    OOh Aussielass that's a mum's response!!

As long as he gets better, that's all that matters in the short term!

Longer term I'm sure you've taught him, like all mothers of sons, to protect the girl from pregnancy and himself from infection!!! Maybe time for a gentle reminder?

He didn't ask? Mmm suspicious, I think you may well be right!!

Just talked to DH. Reckons I'm barking mad & I'm sooooo wrong. :D YS is extremley shy, quiet & reserved so it doesn't really make sense. I just had the feeling I wasn't being told about something & having a suspicious:p mind jumped to the first thing. If it was OS I would be 100% right. He is the original party boy and still hasn't had the light bulb moment. DH bad genes, I'd say. :D

Oh well, I will put my sherlock holmes hat away for the day.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

In the absence ofa 'Thrusday' thread I'll post here for now :D - I'll cut'n' paste it later ;)

Catzine - scottish griddle sounds spot on. I went to stormy down two weeks ago - your spot on about the prices being so cheap. Great if you're buying - but that is one of the best places to get a higher price for your stuff if your selling!!! I miss the ones in Aldershot - less tat to wade through, a bit dearer but good stuff, and when you sold your stuff you got a much better price.
Just to give you an idea the last bootsale I sold at someone wanted to buy my Vtech toys (in pristine condition) for 50p.
Shez - Does the Gearge foreman have the option of a 'flat' surface? A grooved surface would make to cakes break up before they 'set' A frypan might work better - the only difference between a frypan and griddle really is that a griddle ditributes the weight more evenly and holds the heat well, allowing the cakes the chance to cook through. As a guide, basically anything you'd cook 'scotch' pancakes on should be spot on.
Snowy - So thrilled to hear you've got Ted back. I'm not normally a cat lover (I'm allergic so it's kinda self defence ;) ) but I have to say he is so gorgeouse!!!
Aussie lass - glad to hear YS is much better (finally worked out what YS means!! lol - younger son???) Try not to worry. My ex hubby came down with something similar when we were first together - dr's were totally baffled and they never did find out what was wrong. No way was it an STD because he too was such a 'quiet' lad. While all the other squaddies were out on the town he preferred to stay in the block with a book!!!! Reckon he wanted to get married so he could have a married quarter and get away from the single's block :D

Right kettle has boiled for me cuppa (yep Churchmouse - it has already cooled again so got to reboil) Will post this now and then check again for new thread ;)

    Morning!

What a beautiful morning it is too. The wind of last night has made the place feel a lot fresher. I wonder how hot it's going to get today?

OS wise - I have no idea what the day holds, except for the fact that DD wants to make multi-coloured ice lollies.

I've got a slot in the Next online sale in the morning, so I need to look through the list today as well.

    (((hugs)) to all.

B,L,D - no idea .... something with cooked chicken though!

Good morning ageandjo, and everyone who follows,

Aussie - good news re YS, if it is what you suspect, hopefully that will be his lightbulb moment, at least they are on the road to making him better!!!!!

Snowy - So glad Ted is back safe and sound, went to bed wondering about him (and if Jos baby has arrived yet from the relationship thread!!!!)

Penny Pincher - hope you feel better today, and hopefully the 'experts'?? at Kings will be able to tell you more on Monday x

Well, another lovely day, have 2 little ones, and think i will stick to what we have done all week, a trip out this morning (early) and then keep them in until we do the school run, to keep them out of the heat. I love the sunny weather, but dont go in it too much as i want to protect my skin, mind you, the fact i go brown at the drop of a hat helps, as i dont need to sit for hours to get a tan!!!! Also very aware how sensative young childrens skin is and dont like them being out in it all day, its ok when its your on children, but with others i would hate to send them home burnt!!!!
Right, need to go and make the packed lunches, still havnt decided what to cook for dinner tonight, must make my mind up quickly tho, as i have nothing in the cupboards (that my 2 will eat anyway!!!) and will need to get something out of the freezer!!!
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bin is out, Im showered and bed is airing!

Got a half day holiday today and I am hitting the beach:T I have got to meet an architect this morning (work) and thats it for the rest of the day:T I bought a couple of new beach towels yesterday from asda and they are huge I am really pleased with them as others I have seen have been a lot smaller.
OH had C T scan yesterday and his shunt in his head looks fine (thank god)

I have terrible neck pain this morning like tension neck flippin annoying.

Looks like the temp could be 102 degrees today so drink plenty and slap on loads of cream if like me you are gonna lay in it.
My sisters birthday next week she lives in Perth Australia, I have posted her a card but I think I will send some flowers so I must do that soon.

Got to proof read solicitors letter in a mo and send that back to her before it gets posted but I am a bit fed up as I have noticed loads of spelling mistakes in it ( i know my spelling is crap but when I am paying over £100 for her services I would expect the spelling to be correct)

Oh well hope everyone is well, have a lovely day all:D
