    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning! :hello:

Well a quiet day here I think. One washload to do and a small bit of ironing before the temperatures start to soar. DD has asked me to make a lasagne for tonights dinner as a request for her last real meal for a while!:D so will get that done this morning as well and pop it into the fridge for later.

I have borrowed some lovely cross stitch patterns from my sister and as I bought a bargain bag of mixed threads and aida some time ago I will try to make up my own cross stitch kit to do later. The patterns are lovely american shaker/homestyle ones using lovely bright colours.

Kaz - Were you at Stormy Down in all that rain? We only lasted until 11am, when the rain started to come in sideways at us, and then gave up!! Oh for a bit of that rain now!

Snowy - So pleased that Ted came back! They can be little so and so's can't they? He is adorable though!

Scuzz - Poor you, having to suffer a cold is bad enough anyway, but in these conditions! Hope you start to feel better soon.

Manicdays - Have a great time at Aha! How envious am I? I too would be very excited!

Nikki - Is there anyone in the family who could teach you the basics of learning to drive, just to get you started? My Oh did this for me and I only needed 10 lessons. I can't believe the cost of them now! Was only £3 when I learnt and £7 when my son had lessons.

Well off to start my day, take care everyone and don't forget to drink lots of water!

    Catz x

Yesterday I wasn't too bad, but so far today has not been great. I already feel like taking a trip to sainsbury's and standing all day near the fridges / freezers.

OH went to work early today, as they've re-organised things so that people can leave early. Lucky old him.

    Morning all

    Ohhh it's warm already..

We all had a bad nights sleep and woke far to early, DD2 has gone off on her school trip, covered in sun cream and ladden down with cold drinks, hats and sunglasses. DH was looking very grey this morning - hope he's not coming down with something.

2 little ones here this morning - we're off to an indoor play centre for a bit - it's got air-con so will be lovely to cool them down, they're both grumpy and over tired but I think an hours play in the cool should make for a nicer nap time. I've made the cots up and put cold water bottles in to chill it down slightly for when we get back.

Can't be bothered thinking about food today - might just be a beans on toast night.

Hope you all stay cool and remember to drink lots of water.

Morning all. Cycled to work again today and I'm exhausted. it's far too hot for this nonsense. Hope for a BBQ tonight but OH had a wisdom tooth taken out yesterday so he may not be up for it. Oh well I'll just puree his steak :D

Snowy - I'm so glad to hear Ted's back and he's just lovely. I can never decide when dear little Berkley comes back if I want to hug him or strangle him!

To hot to sit at the computer this morning, off to get some water and collapse.

Morning :hello: ... ahhhhhhhh I love my office at the moment ... S0d all my usual complaints about air conditioning drying out my skin and voice! :D ... Today I have my appointment with the mortgage broker at 1pm so will hopefully come out of that armed with an approval in principle ... If everything goes well with that I might see if I can get in touch with a solicitor this afternoon as well ... I had a recommendation from my XBF who's used the same firm 3 times and thinks they're great, but don't know how much they know about shared ownership ... I've only flicked through the remains of yesterday's thread ... ((((PP)))) ... :T johanne :T you deserve some good luck! ... :T snowy, too, for Ted's safe return ... Right, need to print off the details of the flats, to show the mortgage chappie ... oh yes, and get some work done! ... back later ... Rzl xx

    Good morning all.

I have been in the office since 8 and it is really hot in here. No airconditioning and unfortunately no windows either! My boss brought a heating device in the hope it might do air conditioning too. But after some fiddling we realised that no it does not do air conditioning and yes, since we had turned it on for about 20 minutes the room is considerably warmer than it was before... Well. I am clinging on to my water bottle.

Only have a half day at work today. Will go to the pub where we have our wedding reception next week and finalise everything... Then home to do some washing and cleaning... Not much to do really...

Breakfast: Oatmeal, Linseed and Wheat Bran with Soya Milk
    Lunch: Rye Bread with Cucumbers
    Dinner: Potato and Spinach Bake

OH has said he would take me out but the problem is finding somewhere to go practice when I'm not on the insurance. Obviously it has to be carparks but trying to find empty ones is the problem, plus if he does take me out, we have to take DD with us which makes me even more nervous!!! We'll figure a way out. I've told OH he HAS to shop around for car insurance this time around as there has to be someone cheaper than Churchill - one shopbot said that Kwik fit would insure me as well on the car for £7-800 so I'm going to make OH look into other companies ;)

Right, need to get the second load of washing out and then get to the bank/shops before it gets too hot. Later
