If you have a liquidiser - liquidise and put in ice cube trays, half liquidised lemon & half water, (then freeze) use in G&Ts on hot sunny afternoons. For myself I am an optimist - there does not seem to be much use being anything else.

I slice cheap lemons and limes into tiny pieces then put a piece in each ice cube tray and top up with water. They look and taste lovely in drinks and make even a drink of water a special treat

I bought a big bag of fresh lemons from the supermarket today, they were selling them off for 30p, couldn't resist. Can anyone give me some different ideas on what I can use them in? I am sure to get some inspiration from folks on here.0

Freeze them whole.
Wash and dry the lemons then put into a plastic bag and freeze them.
They tend to be a bit mushy when defrosted, but I have still used them in cakes and lemon curd.
Hope this helps.:)0 -
Juice them and freeze the juice in an ice-cube tray or lemon marmalade is a favourite in our house.
Of course ............... if you happen to have a bottle of tequila handy ......
