just waiting to see if the fees do get credited as promised0

got all of todays listing fees back, Ebay does have a heart after all0

I can see this backfiring for ebay. They tell us not to use turbolister and those that comply spend ages listing only to find out that those who never bothered to read the advert get their fees back anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Can I just check - if I use http://www.erns-eporium.co.uk/custom2.htm to create the html, then copy this into the eBay listing creator, the listing will still be free today, right? That doesn't count as using a third-party listing company does it, as it's just an html editor?0

Ebay have emailed me back with this
"This Christmas Brits received over £700 million worth of unwanted gifts.
So this promotion was focused on sellers who wanted to 'rehome' those
presents or have a New Year clearout. Realising that sellers who wanted
to sell their items received as presents do not need Bulk Listing Tools
like 'Turbo Lister' or 'Sells Manager Pro', we excluded items listed
with professional tools, such as "Turbo Lister", ?Bulk relisting tool?
and "Sales Manager Pro" as our main focus was on private sellers who
wanted to sell out unwanted items which are likely not to be in bulk."0 -

Create the listings this week, schedule them to start on Monday 18th, and then edit the scheduled listing on sunday to list immeadiately.
The schedule fee is only charged at the time the listing goes live.

Good idea, but it doesn't work when using TurboLister to schedule! Tried one earlier today, then went back later to amend, and got charged ..............0

I must admit I never list on Free listing days anymore. I have always found when I did I either got lower prices or things didnt sell. Comparable things I sold at other times got far better prices.
I think this is due to the glut of items that are listed so either people dont find yours or there are a lot of the same item. Saving 20 or 20p isnt really a saving when an item sells for £5 less0 -

You know that, I know that, a lot of ebay sellers know that, but the "owt for nowt" brigade just see FREE and assume that cheapest is always best.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
