Just don't forget to list direct onto ebay, no third party listers allowed.

I imagine we will have a number of surprised people posting here on Sunday asking why they were charged, so I'll make sure this is a prominent thread on that day.

I was thinking along those lines as well. Even having all the photos ready will be a great help.

Cheers for the heads up. I don't use any listing tools though, I'm the web development/design business so prefer to hand code my eBay designs. I also don't sell enough to require help from those services.

If I was being cynical I would think that ebay has excluded third party listing tools so people have to pay if they wish to schedule anything. Good job i'm not that cynical

There is a very easy way around this though.

Create the listings this week, schedule them to start on Monday 18th, and then edit the scheduled listing on sunday to list immeadiately.

The schedule fee is only charged at the time the listing goes live.

As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question ! ;)

Yes but I think some newer sellers are rather put out when their items finish at 99p and they have to sell them. There are some things that I would not dream of starting at 99p, just in case.

  • The 99p starting fee used to be a good option, but now with Ebay forcing us to have free postage on many items, the price is not viable unless it is a product that you know is going to sell for close to it's real value.

Ebay has perfected the art of making itself look good to sellers while actually shafting us. I'm sure selling fees have doubled since I first started selling.

It's still good for buyers though, and there are some items that are impossible to buy for a reasonable price elsewhere.
What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.
