Don't know what you're complaining about. My figure was only £3250:(

Oh sorry, I missed that. You have my commiserations. ;)
  • According to the almost identical text I received today from 07928974584 / +447928974584 I'm 'entitled' to £4000 pounds for my non-existent accident, so I guess it sucks to be you. ;)
  • I received a text message today from +447938423712 with the text "You have still not claimed the compensation you are due for the accident you had. To start the process please reply YES. To opt out text STOP". This has to be a scam right? Would I be better to text "STOP" or to just ignore it?

Has anyone else had this or anything like it?

I've recevied the exact message a few times, I've just deleted them and not had any further repercussions.

    Yes, it's a scam.

    Just got one from 07596930937.

The problem with communication and advertising laws is there's always a way round them because the people who draft these laws are just not very criminal savy

  • My wife got one of these texts today saying she may be entitled to £2850! She was absolutely incensed when I told her I had had one for £3750!! She was cross enough to spit nails and is worried that she is suffering from early-onset dementia as she can't remember the alleged accident!! LOL! She wanted to know whether we could report it and who to? She is on Virgin but we haven't been able to find a spam reporting facility yet. This text came from +447402 817354 which I guess is a PAYG number. It's about time someone in authority got a grip (preferably by the throat!) of these idiots and put an effective reporting procedure in place.

They in turn sell the information to SOLICITORS.
They send spam text to any phone including TPS registered. This is breaking EC Privacy laws
