My unbiased opinion is that you were not sensible to get yourself deeply embroiled in another relationship before you had extricated yourself properly from the previous one. Don't you think you would have been better having a period of time on your own for reflection and sorting yourself out as an individual?

Now you've taken on another whole load of emotional baggage before you've had a chance to disgard the last lot.

I wouldn't trust this man and my advice is to spend some time living on your own, sorting yourself out emotionally before you get involved with anybody else.
