Just had an interesting conversation with Sky after reading all the above posts - I was only offered the free HD box and installation, with £10 a month subscription (which I turned down). The operator said that the offer of getting everything free is only being given to 12,000 customers, but that may change after 26th March when the criteria may change apparently. I'm holding out until then and he told me to call back

Just rang but unfortunately got through to a welsh chap, so was only offered a "free" HD box, but £60 installation fee and £10 per month.

I was going to discuss why taff gets free prescriptions, University fees, hospital parking etc, so surely he could do something for a poor Englishman who subsideses him? but thought it best to just go through to cancellations and look to sorting out a freesat box, I did ask him if this was due to England thrashing Wales in the 6 nations ; )

Went thru to cancellations - he has no idea of offer!

He put us thru to sales - he knew about offer and offered it!

now waiting for a call back after one hellova lengthy call!

THEYD BETTER CALL IS ALL I CAN SAY!!!!! AND HOPE ITS WORTH IT!! MIGHT PUSH FOR AN M&S GIFTCARD TOO for the hassle of it all! ; grrrr)

i phoned sky last night and asked politely why existing customers like myself (19 years and counting) were not getting any offers, he then asked what i was looking for, free subscription would be nice but he just laughed at that so i asked about a deal on my bill as i am not really interested in hd, so he spoke to his manager and i got 25% discount for 6 months, might have got more if i threatened to cancel but considering i am in a b/b contract i am more than happy.

We just called been customers for over 10 year, pay £75 per month for package inc phone line and broadband, and got offered nothing. Friends of ours who are on basic package of £25 per month have been offered the free HD deal but they say they are not calling people specifically on the higher package, so we have not received any calls or email. She wasnt having any of it in us trying to get it free,

However after telling her we are not having any of it she backed down and gave us free hd box and installation, we have to pay £10 per month, but she said if we call another number on monday they may be able to help us, so they are coming next sunday to fit and install. So we are halfway pleased

Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200
Grocery Challenge £200 pm Jan £0/£200
January no spend days - 1/31

ITVHD is due to launch as an actual channel on April 2nd - if you live in England & Wales.

I had a phone call from Sky this afternoon, they offered me a free HD box, free install and 12 months free. Only thing I have to do is stay with them for 12 months which I will as it is free.

Would that be HD pack for free for 12 months or everything for free?
