Anyone suggest some nice recipes? I like anything!

OK so wasn't impressed with the beef joint. About as unimpressed as I was actually with a chicken done in the SC and lamb. All meats were melt in the mouth but almost totally flavourless compared to being done in the oven.
The only joint i've found so far that doesn't do this in the SC is gammon.

I had oxtails in mine, with carrots, onion, potatoes and red wine. I found it very rich and would serve smaller portions next time, with extra veg.0

I did a chunky root veg casserole today, a huge batch, so I had plenty to freeze for use another day. And for the first time, I trusted the SC on its own while I went to work, lol, as I've been home the other two times I've used it, was great to come home to the smell of cooking for a change, instead of having to start cooking when I got in!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

How do you ensure veg are cooked in a slow cooker at the same time as the meat? We have always struggled with this.0

I have some beef sausages chopped into pieces, 1/2 a red pepper, half a yellow pepper, mushrooms, potatos and swede. I put in italian herbs, bayleaves, peppercorns, beef stock and tom puree. Not sure how it will taste just made it up!0

Sausages for me too.
Pork and apple sausages, cider, butterbeans, mushrooms, carrots, a few small baby plum tomatoes (for flavour), onion, garlic, and herbs.0 -
