    Hi all,

Does anyone know of any good recipe websites for slow cooker recipes at all?

I've used mine once and had a disaster with chicken thigh bones disintegrating into my casserole...I think I need a bit of guidance! lol

    Hi

there are lots of recipe ideas on this thread as many peeps post what they are putting into their sc`s. Somewhere (think its on the old style board) there is a slow cooker questions thread and also a slow cooker recipes thread.

  • HI Folks,

just bought my first slow cooker today. Got a good bargain from Argos. A 3.5 lts Cookware cooker for £6.69. Couldn't resist it. Can anyone give me some ideas for my first attempt at using it please. Bearing in mind that I am vegetarian and something nice a simple for a first try.
    Many thanks

i've never used them i heard they were very salty i tend not to use stock cubes anyway because they do tend to be salty and i have a little one to think of, but alot of things will seem watery in your slow cooker anyway because the moister doesn't evapoate some grazy granuals or cornflour usually sorts it out
