lor what I do is remove the carrots or other veggies I don't want to liquidise before putting the remainder in the liquidiser, then replace them or not as desired. I used to work for a company who made commercial canned soups and that is what they do, it's called 'garnish'.

Today I'm attempting a steamed bacon and onion pudding.....
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

A couple of days ago I did Rabbit in mine. (cost nothing as my foster dog got hold of one of my pets:( but I made sure it didn't go to waste;))
Due to the rabbit being a 'domestic' rabbit rather than a wild one there was loads of meat. After cooking it in the slow cooker for several hours and picking the bones out, (slow cookers are a god send for there abillity to cook things so they fall to bits, which is a good thing.) I did a stir fry, then later had a sandwich, then sat picking & nibbling on bits, then ended up giving the rest to my dog (not the bunny killing foster dog) Because it was a domestic rabbit it wasn't gamey, tasted like chicken.
I wouldn't have risked cooking it (or any meat) in a conventional oven 'cos I'm frightend of giving myself food poisoning.

    i think i feel sick :o

Another first timer tonight, mines got carrots, spring onion, onions, a teeny bit of swede (got bored trying to chop it up lol) crushed garlic, a sprinkle of oregano, chicken stock and a pork chop.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
