Morrisons staff putting things aside.

This thread has made me paranoid, in Morrisons earlier and the assistant removed some cream cakes from the display (not reduced yet) and took them in the back. So I thought, maybe they are to be reduced but she's put them out of the way so she can reduce them for herself, or maybe she has hidden them so they can't be reduced and she wants to pay full price as she doesn't believe in "perks of the job".
But then I saw reason and realised what a big favour she had done me, I have saved eating all those calories and saved money as well, so keep up the good work Morrisons staff.

If people cant see a problem with that, then the mind boggles.
I suppose if something is cheap for the first 10 customers in a sale, that is also all right if 10 members of staff take it for them selves, after all they can still be customers?
I'll wait and see whether their head office agrees with me or you.
How did you let them know then?0 -
cant believe this is still going. what a classic0

Good luck to them, their most probably on minimum wage, I would just call it a perk of the job.
I used to work at Morrison's and boy they treat you like a skivvy
minimum wage you have to do all your own cleaning, ovens floor
cream machines fridges and freezers. Then if managers want something putting out you have to go and get it from the freezers horrible place to workSealed Pot Number 018 🎄2009..£950.50 🎄2010..£256 🎄 2011..£526 🎄2012..£548.80 🎄2013...£758.88🎄2014...£510 🎄2015...£604.78 🎄2016...£704.50 🎄2017...£475 🎄2018...£1979.12 🎄2019...£408.88🎄2020...£1200.63...🎄2021…£588 🎄2022 £672… 🎄2023 £3,783.90 🎄2024…£3,882.57🎄20250 -

edit- and before anyone suggests she finds another job if she doesn't like it, she has a house and bills to pay and you gotta do what you gotta do. Doesn't stop some them taking the pi$$ with her though....
I used to work there sometimes you couldn't even get to your Lunch breaks and the food they serve in the canteen is sh**
as you say a lot of the time you work for no pay at all and yet if your 4 mins late they dock you half an hourSealed Pot Number 018 🎄2009..£950.50 🎄2010..£256 🎄 2011..£526 🎄2012..£548.80 🎄2013...£758.88🎄2014...£510 🎄2015...£604.78 🎄2016...£704.50 🎄2017...£475 🎄2018...£1979.12 🎄2019...£408.88🎄2020...£1200.63...🎄2021…£588 🎄2022 £672… 🎄2023 £3,783.90 🎄2024…£3,882.57🎄20250 -

That is what we used to do
customers are like bleeding vultures as soon as they see you with the price gun it was all ways the same people they would snatch it out of your handsSealed Pot Number 018 🎄2009..£950.50 🎄2010..£256 🎄 2011..£526 🎄2012..£548.80 🎄2013...£758.88🎄2014...£510 🎄2015...£604.78 🎄2016...£704.50 🎄2017...£475 🎄2018...£1979.12 🎄2019...£408.88🎄2020...£1200.63...🎄2021…£588 🎄2022 £672… 🎄2023 £3,783.90 🎄2024…£3,882.57🎄20250
