Well I've been doing it for the best part of a year and I was a late starter. You can turn your existing classic into "classic with vantage" & then add 2 more :D and make hay whilst the sun shines....

You say add 2 more - what do you mean? 2 more classic accounts with Vantage or can you add Vantage to a single classic account?

Anyone else find the following comparisons a bit daft?

Lloyds TSB's eSaver only pays 0.1% gross if you don't have more than £10k in it.

    versus

Try to transfer out of your eSaver into one of your Vantage current accounts on a Friday evening and the transaction will not show up until the Monday. Hardly an incentive to bank that way, is it?

For clarification, the esaver pays a 1.5% bonus for the first 12 months.

I've never had problem transferring from one of my accounts to another - the transactions have been instantaneous?
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

has anyone been written to regarding having more than 3 vantage accounts???
  • Is Lloyds going to cap at 3 accounts then loose the extra money that is in the other accounts? don't think so.
I've got 5 maxed up,, can't see Lloyds telling me to take 14K to a competitor

Even if they did start weeding out those with over 3, they'd have to be selective about the dates the accounts were opened, because they didn't state the limit of 3 accounts originally.
  • As LTSB had a large input from the Government it makes a change from them screwing us!

    :rotfl:
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!

I've notice a lot of adverts lately for the vantage account and they don't make it obvious you can only have 3. I was beginning to wonder if they had changed the rules and scanned the small print but couldn't see 3 only mentioned.

It's on the Vantage product overview page...
Customers are limited to a total of 3 Vantage Accounts.

It is also on the Printed T&C sent together as a package when people open their Vantage a/c.
