As Jimmy-p said, sign in and then apply using link on left hand sign, no need for a fresh application.

BTW i didn't get the 6th account. I received a letter saying I had too many and had to go into a branch if I wanted more accounts. I doubt a branch would allow more but you never know.

Yes but to be honest I was curious and just tried it. I guess Lloyds should fix their online application system if they really care and they can close my extra accounts as well but I somehow doubt it.

i have 6 but sounds like they're clamping down so i guess i'm unlikely to get anymore should i apply...

did you get more than 3a/c under single name ?
I am asking beacuse when I set up by phone, the guy on the phone saif I could onl set up max 3.

If there is a sneaky way of having more than 3 a/c I am going to try my luck. If you could tell me the secret, it will be great.

Coud you please tell me your secret how could you have more than 3 a/c under sole name.

If there is a sneaky way of having more than 3 a/c I am going to try my luck. Phone application defenitely no. I have tried it and they clearly mentioned I could only have max 3 a/c.

no sneaky way, just applied online. got rejected a couple of times but just left it a while between applications.

all in my sole name.

How did you get rejected? via a letter in the post or online?

OH has one account in single name. Tried to open one today but got an eror message saying "Sorry, we can't offer you a secondary current account".

We logged on to internet banking and then clicked on current accounts on right hand side...

Do others have this problem?

Yeah, I get the same. Only have one account so far.

I have opened mine by going to the apply link on the current account page on their site, not via internet banking (which always refused me).
