Update since last post
Been shop for bits and pieces
Used leftover bolognese to make Lasagne
Fed birds and put fresh water out
Emptied WM and clothes on radiators
Emptied DW
Cooked 'bits' for the fridge - things that DS can just grab and eat with a quick warm up in micro
Took 15 mins trying to get the cooker hood back on and the fan working again
Was rewarded with a black 5p from the WM filter

STAR FOR TUESDAY PLEASE TOOTSI'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun0 -
Ragz an estate might help him do small goods shifting, parcel deliveries included, home deliveries network use a lot of people with their own cars. If he can not drive in the current conditions, this of course would not be a good idea at the minute but something to maybe consider is looking at alternatives for the future. What about taking in emailed design work so he can be working on plans for future landscaping projects people want doing?
He's actually a maintenance gardener (not landscaping) and usually has a full week of work it's just the weather at the moment has been too bad. Even in winter he usually manages most days but you just can't weed a bed that's under snow! I sometimes wish he had a steadier job but he loves his work and hopes to start employing people next year so I just have to be supportive lol
Baby is making me very uncomfortable so flying on hold while I go to sit on the sofa for a while...

Read the following in the paper this weekend (as one of 66 tips to de-stress) and am trying to follow it:
"It's important to think of men as welcome perks;) rather than the answer to anything in particular...once you have put aside the expectation and think of them more like entertaining visitors who help when they can, the stress melts away."
Have been trying to concentrate on not thinking DH is unwelcome visitor...:rotfl:

sorted the emergency box and smoke alarm so that's Monday's list done too so can I have another star please toots! :j
also, just wanted to say it was a great idea to change round which room we do on which day. I'm sure most of us have more time some days than others, so by rotating the jobs each room will get it's fair share of attention.weaving through the chaos...0 -
