Update since last post

Been shop for bits and pieces
Used leftover bolognese to make Lasagne
Fed birds and put fresh water out
Emptied WM and clothes on radiators
Emptied DW
Cooked 'bits' for the fridge - things that DS can just grab and eat with a quick warm up in micro
Took 15 mins trying to get the cooker hood back on and the fan working again :mad:
Was rewarded with a black 5p from the WM filter :rolleyes:

"It's important to think of men as welcome perks;) rather than the answer to anything in particular...once you have put aside the expectation and think of them more like entertaining visitors who help when they can, the stress melts away."
Have been trying to concentrate on not thinking DH is unwelcome visitor...:rotfl:

sorted the emergency box and smoke alarm so that's Monday's list done too so can I have another star please toots! :j

also, just wanted to say it was a great idea to change round which room we do on which day. I'm sure most of us have more time some days than others, so by rotating the jobs each room will get it's fair share of attention.

Hi all, wow haven't you all been busy - you're all so tidy and clean already and I have yet to start.

Hmm - where's that list.

Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area
Level One - Done[STRIKE]
Wipe and replace small appliances
Declutter and wipe work surfaces[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors
Wipe units/appliances
Clear and wipe window sills.. do not put back the junk.. bin it!
Level Three
Tidy, clear and wipe the top of the fridge and freezer
Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave, kettle, iron,
Clean appliance filters.. WM, DW, Kettle, Vacuum cleaner.. cooker hood..


Extras

1. Sharpen knives
2. Order and organise the spices and sauces.
3. Sort the plastic boxes/tupperware
4. [STRIKE] Medical box - restock and inventory. I'm sure a lot of us will have run out of the vitals the last few months![/STRIKE]

Both the above are on my shopping list for tomorrow as I must go to babygroup.

Nipped to town earlier but did take a bag to Charity shop as well,stocked up at Wilkinsons black sacks for flinging etc.

Ragz...my OH was a gardener he packed it in 4 years ago as the work was so unreliable during the winter...hes now a coach driver and loves his job so much..hope things look up for you xx

Just popped on to say hello, I have kind of caught up with the thread but sorry I don't have time to list all individual postings so hugs if you need them, get well soon vibes to poorlies and poorly littlies as well, and how rude am I :eek: I forgot to say thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie as always for the lists, just 31 minutes to go then I am finished, I done loads of decluttering in work today, filled 19 storage boxes for the archive :eek: wonder how long they will sit before workshop manager moves them :rolleyes:

Done some more ironing and general dot2dotting, WM on the go again. Got a large bag of clothes for rags are us at cubs.

I have a lovely pink soft snuggly dressing gown which has white stars on it which is washed and looking for a new home. It is a george one age 8-9, freshly washed and ready to go. If anyone would like it PM me your address.

Off to do the school run and drop a load of books off for Mum.
