:mad: just been on the phone re my new tax codes because they sent me 2, 1 for my job in the school and 1 (the main 1 ) for a job I was in 10 years ago!!!!!!!.....that means that my job in the school is classed a second job therefore would get a lower tax code, tried to sort it out on the phone he is now issueing me a new tax code, lets hope it's right next time, cause I don't think I should have to pay tax on a job I do for an hour and a quater term time only:mad::mad:

Sorry for the rant, school [STRIKE]run[/STRIKE] walk/slip/slide time

Read the following in the paper this weekend (as one of 66 tips to de-stress) and am trying to follow it:
"It's important to think of men as welcome perks;) rather than the answer to anything in particular...once you have put aside the expectation and think of them more like entertaining visitors who help when they can, the stress melts away."
Have been trying to concentrate on not thinking DH is unwelcome visitor...:rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Yellow day is noted in the diary AnW's

rosep - your dream about the book made me laugh!

Top news on the research appointment MissH

Ouch Rach! I know exactly how that feels! Mine still twinges when I move it in certain ways - have they signed you off for a couple of days?

Most of the snow and ice has now melted thank goodness. Not sure if we'll get the snow here tonight - we may just get rain but I think it'll be a dumping of the white stuff inland.

Off to fly in the kitchen
