    rach - Happy Birthday!

sallypurple, chickadee, turkolina, ceebeeby, Maria81, Intastella, StrawberryYoghurt, poffigirl - welcome

turkolina - my condolences; hugs and prayers for you

    cyclingyorkie - congrats to DS

I took the car out today, picked up dad and we went to Mr M so we both now have some food. Dad's road was very scary to drive down (was surprised as it's a fairly main road IYSWIM). Took me 20 mins to get home - he lives under a mile away!

Going back to work tomorrow so am hoping the roads up there aren't too bad - I will leave extra time and I am picking up a colleague so at least I'll have company.

My counselling has been postponed because of the weather, which I do understand, but it means I've only had one session in a month - oh well.

Now going to sort out everything ready for tomorrow x

After an unsuccessful week last week (hampered by the snow, the kids and myself) I'm aiming for just level ones this week and a few bits off my weekly list :)

    Mon
day - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
[STRIKE]Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
Make time for yourself!! Half an hour of peace!/hobbies[/STRIKE]

Actually I could really do with one of these so I'm moving it to my weekly list as I havent done it today.
    Level Three
Sort out emergency box.. in case of power failures etc.. candles, matches/lighter/torch/batteries and emergency numbers.. plumber, gas, electric, water etc
And this: can't reach to check cos I'm not allowed on the ladder but I'm going to keep it on the list and ask DH to do it.
Its really important, and a great reminder, thanks :)
    Check smoke alarms

Weekly list of horrible things that I must do:
    [STRIKE]Post Ebay stuff[/STRIKE] (yipee, I sold DSs major buggy :) )[STRIKE]:j
    Post letters for cancelling things[/STRIKE]
Phone OU and see if its too late to enrol
    Hospital appt
    Doc appt
    [STRIKE]Put prescriptions in[/STRIKE]
    Pick prescriptions up
[STRIKE]Go to DVLA office and get replacement tax disc for the one I lost in the snow on sat.[/STRIKE]
Go to kia garage with scrappage stuff.
    Put something else on ebay.
Help DSt do unfinished homework from last term and take it in
Chase up council re DS1s funding for courses
DSs HORRIBLE DLA renewal form which has been looming at me all week. This will be a major stress out of the way when its done.

Thank you to those that said hello. :0)

Maria, I offer you my humblest apologies. I told you I was an incompetent PA, well I proved it. I totally missed you first time round but have now corrected that. You have your welcome PM which tells you all about things. Please forgive me.

CB - huge hugs love - don't you dare run away for a week! We need to know how you are. It was mentioned on last week's thread that we're still here to support each other so please and if we can support you by reading what you type here, then please do that. A problem (or cluttered mind!) shared is a problem halved.

I am usually around on FB if you want to PM me at all...my chat keeps mucking up so I have it off:cool:

  • thanks soappie/piggers/poppyt/jinky - just needed to vent. I did do 2 stars last week but didn't post as knew I would go off on one and let rip about how I feel so didn't post for a few days. After all the comments last week about posting less I thought I'd better keep my 'stuff' out of it. I thank you all for being so lovely, don't know why I'm being such a daft mare TBH and DH keeps looking at me whilst I've been posting here, he knows how I feel but then a put my 'face on' YKWIM?
