cosmomo.....Well I did tidy the baskets storing the DVD's/wii games and catalogues when I dusted the back of the telly so suppose that could count, now what to do with the old and quite heavy NEXT catalogues....school( though they seemed to have enough in the office today!!!) or just recycle????

I think that definitely counts! Our recycling won't take Next catalogues but playgroup usually love them. Freegle them? You never know..!

    Evening all

MissHiggerty - I took the executive decision of awarding you a star for the coats because you've done some sorting of them so that counts!

Well done everyone, you've all worked quite hard today. Me too, I gave myself a star for my work in the living room and the hallway. I'm glad the order was for A bookshelf - I must have about a dozen in the hallways :D

Reasonable day at work - was actually busy for once which makes a nice change. Still cold and there's still some icy snow residue lying in my street but not on the main roads. Forecast is for possibly more snow tomorrow and Weds. But that SHOULD be the last of it, temps look set to rise after that.

Off to declutter a gammon joint from the fridge to the oven and set the BM going

  • Sorry one and all it's off thread again

poffigirl - DS was 3 and a month, DD1 was 11months and 3 weeks old and I had DD2! So for a week both girls are the same age!!!! It can be phsically/emotionally draining but it's all over and done with soon ennough! Nearly put me in a straight jacket at times! The thing is ORGANISING - THAT'S WHY JOINING FLYLADIES WILL HELP YOU ENORMOUSLY
Jill/Jinks/LL - thanks for the hugs. DD2 is convinced her baby will be de£d inside her and she won't know? !!!!!!, she's read and listened to too much sh£te I think, me and my sister have tried to reassure her. DS has his date to come back to Catterick for his deployment training and I can't get it out of my head the old saying of 'one life ends to make room for another'. Pathetic but true. Doing my upmost to put things in perspective, I'm normally a sane and rational person (don't all laugh and splutter your tea at once!). So that's why I haven't been posting. There's people here with more pressing issues than mine.
AND I DON'T LIKE THAT OTHER THREAD - have I already said that?
Sorry again for off going off thread. Will take a week out I think (like I did for most of last week) and get a grip. Will carry on reading as I love to know what you are all doing and the support here is amazing

I don't like the other thread either! and I won't go there.. to there.. :p

Carlsberg.. that isn't necessarily true or I'd have no relatives left! I think only 2 of my children have corresponded with a family bereavement.. Tiddles, my gran passed away when she was 3 weeks old and KH's uncle died the day before DS1 was born.

CB - huge hugs love - don't you dare run away for a week! We need to know how you are. It was mentioned on last week's thread that we're still here to support each other so please and if we can support you by reading what you type here, then please do that. A problem (or cluttered mind!) shared is a problem halved.

You've a hard time emotionally ahead of you. DD should soon be getting to the stage where she can feel little kicks so that will help reassure her. DS, well, he's a brave young man and clearly keen to serve his country. Putting things statistically, given the number of troops out there, the percentage of injuries and deaths is quite low really. Although that's no comfort to those families who the reaper touches.

    Chin up love xxxx
