OMG just back from aqua aerobics - she worked us soooo hard!!
  • can someone explain the uncooked and cooked measures with ww?

I have done ww a few times and normally point the pasta 60g at 3 points, however if you look at the cooked weight i think its 225g.
so when i cook 60g it doesnt seem to weigh as much as that.

can anyone explain? hope im making sense!

    thanks
  • I just tried the WW frozen minipots - YUM!

We had the Moroccan Chicken with Couscous (6 points) from the online WW tonight and it was looovely - very filling and very tasty. Really recommend this though you need a well stocked spice rack!
Got week ahead's meals planned and lunch prepared for work tomorrow, so feeling positive about sticking to the points this week.

half a star for me kelly, i lost the weight but no exercise!! oops.

i've decided (in the past thirty seconds :D) that i want to be 10st something on my birthday (6th march). even if it's 10st 13 and a half. this is going to involve a big push for me, it's losing another 1st and 6lbs in about 6 weeks, but i fully intend to give it a go!

jtb could you update my target for me to say "lose 1st 8lbs by march 6th"? that would be my original target so i have lost 2lbs of that already.

need to get exercising right away!! star jumps. :j

    Morning All!

My quote button doesn't seem to be working today but thats probably a good thing after the marathon catch up I've just done!

Firstly - amazingly BAD weekend WW wise but a fantastically BRILLIANT weekend in every other way - possibly the best weekend I've had in ages!!!

It's involved: Pizza Express, looking at friends new houses, wedding dress shopping (not for me!) going to wedding fairs and trying wedding cake samples, receiving a belated birthday present of burger maker and burger rexipe book, catching up with a friend who's been in Thailand near my family, playing Wii and nearly wetting myself with laughter, homemade burgers with sweet potato wedges, cheese and pineapple on sticks (how retro) a big fat carvery and FREE pudding as she forgot to put it on the bill, my bestest friend in the whole world announcing she's pregnant and another favourite person of mine asking me to be bridesmaid!!!!!!!!!! The wedding is not till July 2011 so I really must contain some of this excitement..

Seriously I'm so excited about everything I may just pee myself a little bit.

So I don't care that I STS and didn't do any exercise! That will change this week however as I will now have to wear a slinky show-every-lump-and-bump baby pink strapless dress in 19 months time!!

So from what I remember over the last few pages (you chatterboxes you) I love curly wurly's and being a chocoholic always have some in the freezer, love the Tesco LC moussaka for 3.5, great for lunch at work, well done on the losses and anyone who got stars too!! Mmmmm phish foooooooooood...

So anyway, gotta do some work but will have a proper catch up later!
Really should be doing some work...

Wow Puddings, that's great ! Now you've got a really good reason to get to your goal weight ;) ......... fab news about the pregnancy too, always lovely to hear :D.

I'll think of a challenge soon (at work so plenty of time to do 'thinking' things :p), well done to all those who managed it last week :T.

Had a good week here and I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning (WI tonight) and I think I might have lost 1lb which is great considering it's my TOTM .

    Today's menu:

    B - Muesli and Milk
S - Apple and h/m almond and cherry fairy cake
L - WW bagel with cheese, WW yoghurt
D - Ham and brocolli gnocchi, rice pudding

Total = 18 (leaves me a few points for a treat after I get back from WI ;))

Back a bit later with the challenge :D
    :jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j
