Good morning everyone
Checking in with my results this week:
Rumblytum STS
It is as is should be, and I'm not disappointed. I haven't been able to cycle because of the snow, and I've been out for a meal one night this week, been to a quiz night another, and had fish and chips another, so I was expecting a gain. It may yet catch up with me if I don't reign myself in this week.
Looking forward to the exercise getting going this week, so hopefully that will knock some off.
Will post today's eats tomorrow - have a good week everyone.

yep it is free once your at your gold weight, you can only vary by 5lbs up and 5lbs down though. its the only reason Im still going at not just doing it at home, I have done this once before, got to goal and then stopped and put it all back on, I need to be a gold member and keep going to classes even if not every week so that I keep a close eye on it.0

Another big point day yesterday but managed to stay within 0.5pt of my 18pt limit. Horrah!! Breakfast - 1 piece of toast. Lunch - Subway Ham salad with sweet onion sauce. Dinner - Mexican buffet with chilli & nachos (eeeek!)
We're hiking up a largish hill later today and I'm really going to put the effort it to shift some ibs before my first weigh in tomorrow. Boiled egg & soldiers for breakfast but unsure what I'm getting for the rest of the day, may offer to cook then at least I'm in control!!
Anyone else notice how on the Planner search results some items are listed as more points than they are when you click onto them? Boiled egg is listed as 2pts but when you click to add it it's 1.5pts. Not sure which one to believe!* Save £s - Lose lbs *

What's the new Discovery Plan like? Is it back to counting points? I enjoy No Count as it doesn't feel as regimented.
Today I've eaten/plan to eat:-
BF: poached egg on toast with Clover
snack : banana
lunch: couscous with onion, carrot, tomato and chickpeas
snack : melon and grapes
tea: home made fish pie.
Good luck for this week everyone. Rumblytum, at least you are aware of where you have slipped up this week. Just need to get back on track. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Lily we've got roast chicken here too today.
I usually have:
150g roast chicken, no skin (2.5 pts)
2 roast potatoes - 100g, roasted in fat, can't be doing with dry roasties, not the same ! (3 pts),
loads of free veg, roast parsnips, brocolli, carrots, swede (mashed with a little spread - 0.5 pt),
gravy made with granules (I usually count a point for this, I don't have much)
and yorkshire pud (2 or 3 points, depending on how much of a piggy I'm being as it's my favourite, home-made too !)
Total is about 10 points and I always have zero point or low point soup for tea with a slice of WW brown bread. That way I can really enjoy my dinner without having to worry about what I'm having. I don't feel like I'm missing out as I have the roasties and the yorkshire, just allow for it in your points.

never noticed that before now, weird
Also strange as 2 medium eggs is 2.5 points making it a really good choice for filling foods
I have the poach pods you can get from lakeland and they are great for poaching eggs for a weekend breakfast, mmm...God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Awh thank you so much! Been trying to work it out but it's tricky when you're not actually cooking it yourself. I'm going to have a few slices of skinless chicken & lots&lots of veg. Might even try to avoid spuds completely because I find it so so hard to stop eating them when I start!

reading all the posts about roasts was making me lust after yorkshires and roasties and gravy... mmm. probably safer for me to avoid completely as i go mental when presented with a tray of yorkshires. :rotfl:
so i am using the quorn mince to make chilli!
large portion quorn (100g) = 1pt
roughly 1/3 of uncle ben's chilli sauce jar = 1pt
lots of free veg (kidney beans, carrot, courgette, garlic, onion, peppers) = 0pt
portion rice = 1.5pt
total = 3.5pt. well impressed! as long as the quorn doesn't taste totally rank i am happy :A we'll see if BF notices it isn't meat
now craving yorkshires though. lol.0 -
Am trying out a recipe from the ww online site tonight - Moroccan Chicken with Couscous at 6 points. Will let you know how it goes, its just simmering away at the moment but smells pretty good so far!
Was not terribly MSE buying the extra spices I need for the recipe, but will try and get lots of use out of them trying out other spicy recipes (and have agreed to share bay leaves with my Mum too as she'll use them more than me)
Your roast dinner talk makes me hungry! Have a nice eveningfran-o0
