i am really excited i am so happy that is 17 parcels i can send out to the hospitals of knitted items
Shezmit, Do you sell things to buy wool to make items for the hospital, or do you sell the items you've knitted to make money for the hospital? Or are the two things not linked? Or am I just getting really confused???
I have tons of wool and the urge to knit - if you have patterns for any of the items you need and want some making, pm me.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
We sell things to raise money so we can send knitted goods to the hospitals, as we have a few knitters, but next months money we will use to buy wool,

Exciting times ... there is a book I swear by when it comes to business planning which may help you polish your plan up a bit along the way ..." the definitive business plan" by Richard Stutely ... it is an FT publication via Prentice Hall. I have an older version than the current edition but as the current one is by the same author I would imagine it is just as good if not better. Amazon are selling it for around £11 at the moment so it might be worth the investment. There is quite a bit to it but you can get a huge leap forward from reading the introduction and early chapters and then jumping about for information when you need it ... in time it usually proves useful to jump in in more detail if there is a specific area of your plan which needs a bit more meat on it. Hope this helps

YAY.... well done 2 cats! Big pat on the back for you!!!
China, I know how you feel (been there and been down too!). See how you feel and maybe if it keeps on then it might be worth a quick trip to the doctor?? Why not look for different work that is more regular and flexible to fit in around what you do already? Or use your knowledge (am I right in thinking you are modelling??) to set something up to occupy your time and maybe make a bit of money at it. Are you any good at writing? Maybe a fashion blog, or approach the local newspaper..... Or even set up your own agency??? Feel free to PM if you need a chat!
Mambury
Thanks Mambury, I used to work work as a online marketer/part time model but lost my job a year ago and am modelling full time now. I was offered a part time role as a booker at a small agency so I kind of know how it all works, but after 2 weeks the guy who runs it tried it on with me one so I walked out!!
I think I'll get some sleep now and wake up with a fresh postive mind, setting up a fashion blog sounds like something I'd try...stick some affiliate banners on there too...night night!0 -

In this case a lot of documents that reference the book as advised further reading and a precis ebook about business planning (pretty useful) which again references the book for further reading.

I am convinced with all this positive thinking now!
Had been chatting to Mum about how well I am doing and then on my way home I found £5.00! Not a lot I know, but every little helps!
Hope everyone is ok and still feeling positive!
Just keep your goal in mind and you will reach it!
