I am so glad you left. Iwish you a very happy life from now on. :)
  • Aruna if you ever want to talk about what you are feeling/going through at the moment, feel free to PM me.
I left my abusive huband on monday, and have spent the week with police, solicitors and at court, it's been a rollercoaster.
It's a long road we're on but at least we are out and on it :)
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

    Just want to be...Happy

Well Done Shelley as well. Good luck to you too - you are such a brave woman. What made you finally leave? (if you don't mind my asking)
    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

I don't want to go into it too much, but what made me do it was the thought that if I didn't get out then, I would have to go through it again before I could leave, because the police take more notice if you report it straight away.
I think I reached my breaking point.
I know i have a lot of mess to go through before everything will be ok.

today i had a sausage sandwich for breakfast, bought sausages last night without fear of him moaning, pheww..

Isn't it crazy when you say it outloud how stupid it is you had to give up sausages!!

I am SO pleased you are out and are happy :j:j

Sounds like your ex has realised what he has lost and is now clutching at straws trying to regain some power. I bet its a huge shock to him you have not answered any of his calls or texts, I remember my ex leaving me voice messages when I left saying "Don't ignore me this time please" which I felt quite threatened about at the time but did not do it. It will pass with time, especially if you are changing your number. I lost my old sim card he had the number for which was probably a blessing as I used to check it all the time to see if he'd tried to contact me

Continue to stay positive and strong, You've done SO well. I'm glad you're keeping all the goldfish too :D:beer: xx

    Thanks dvardyshadow,
I trust it will, because it's now clear that its his loss, he made me see a bad woman in myself because he was so good at that if he did not have his way. It's good to be able to rediscover myself again, i know i have a long way to go, - put i've got all the time in the world to do that.
Really glad that you have moved out.

    Now you can move on.

It may not be easier but over time you will get more practiced at it.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Aruna, I just wanted to add my voice to everyone on here that's been moved and inspired by what you're doing to build your own happiness at last. And I wanted to say that next time I eat a pork sausage, I'll be thinking of you.
