Im 3 weeks today and still feel as thought I am loaded withthe cold, I work in Holland and Barrettt so I should deffo be buying all the stuff in there to help out lol.

Was supposed to be at a high school reunion tonight but there was no hance I was makign it, I feel rotten still lol. Im in touch with most ppl from high school anywayz and will see most of them again at my reception lol.

I need to get my finger out and get all the wee things done now lol.

Picked my dress up yesterday. Fits great and I'm mostly happy with it. Some of the dressmakers stitching of the trim (around the empire waist) was a bit lazy; so I got the needles and thread out, and some sharp scissors, and tidied up a couple of minor details. No-one else would have notice them, but I did!

Mum wasn't concentrating when she was shown how to tie the train up and we can't figure it out at all! Ha ha ha.

Crash diet time from Tuesday for a 'buffer' for the five days before the wedding!

Cripes. Looks like I'm getting married then. :eek:

Also got my dress yesterday joho. I'll be joining you on the crash diet as following my injury, she had to force the zip up a little bit. Dressmaker didn't put any of the poppers in to hide my straps so I'm going to put a couple of stitches in myself.

Had my hen last night and that ended in total disaster. See my other thread if you're interested, but the short version involves a black eye, burst nose, split lip and an arrest (none of which were me, I hasten to add).

Just read it codemonkey! How awful! I do hope your friend is okay and that you can take this on properly and get the sh.i.t.bag that did this! My God, it's the sort of thing you see on Police, Camera, Action and think will never happen to you! But drink brings out the worst in some people. (Edit: I mean him, not her!)

Ah I feel really sad for you. Welling up a bit. I thought I had it bad being a bit narked with my dressmaker for a few lazy stitches (or lack of stitches!).

4 days to go and I can't believe how much I have left to do. My dress hasn't been pressed, the garden looks like a jungle so there's no where to put the tents, all the food to sort, and OH just realised that he hasn't bought one of his Bestmen a gift, followed by him delaring he would order something online, but didn't know what and didn't understand the fact that it wouldn't arrive on time anyway, Have spent most of the afternoon getting annoyed with my wedding cake as I am decorating it completely myself and had bought cheap icing which kept falling apart everytime I tried to put it on the cake! Finally several hours later I have finished three tiers and the OH has decided that I will be making the top tier myself (sponge) as we can't find any we like and its about too late to order one from M&S. So much more work to do tomorrow.

Oh holy shot. Can you believe its September tomorrow? 11 days for me. Is anyone else getting total butterflies? I'm so nervous and h2b hasn't eaten dinner this week cause he's so worried about his speech.

And everything seems huge. I broke a nail earlier and freaked out. Hahaha. We had a massive fight about the table plan too because h2b wanted to have separate tables for his guests and mine. It ended with him calling me timmy, and me calling him a bald eejjt and then hysterical laughter.
