    Hey s23xy_c i know exactly how you are feeling and its not good.

    I still have so much to do and just want to stay in bed but i need to go up to Glasgow today to return the tiara they let me borrow for my hair trial as mine still isn't in yet! Its only been ordered for over a year :mad: but they have to have it back asap as its their best selling one!

    I managed to get my final invitations made yesterday just need to get them addressed to send out today. I have also made 25 thank you cards but need to get more stuff for the rest of them.

    I've still got loads of stuff to get for my sweetie table and a signing frame to get so i can see me ending up at braehead to go to ikea today which is not going to be good cause its saturday.

    Had my hair trial last night and managed to sort out what the bridesmaids are doing (just need to find extra hair accessories that match which could prove a problem as i bought them over a year ago in new look) I also have to get some big diamontee hair pins.... i have 9 but i need 18 and i bought them in a shop that was closing down so don't think i can get the same now....

    So much to do and only 4 weeks to do it in..... stressing now!

    Its crazy, I had my hair done last week for my hen night nad it didnt last so deffo not using that hairdresser at all!
    Need to find another one and then find out what the bridesmaids are wanting done to their hair and find someone to do their hair too.

    What are all ur bridesmaids doing for make up?
    While im lying in bed today I might just list a few more things on Ebay since its free listing this weekend, any more money made will just help for all the small things still needed for the wedding x

    My bridesmaids are doing their own makeup and one of my bridesmaids works for a cosmetic counter so is doing mine. The trial is next week.

    22 days to go for me now. Should be getting scared but I'm ok. Totally panicking about my skin though, which has gotten wind of the photo opportunities ahead and broken out in massive spots. So glad I got a green colour balancer to hide all the red bits.

    Just ordered the finishing touches for the table decorations, made our final venue payment, paid off the cars, full balance on the cake and need to pay the band next week. Paperwork has all been handed to the registrar. Hen and stag nights are next weekend. This is our last free weekend until the wedding. Eeek.

    Im scared to count how many days it is until mine lol.
    Ive got to go try my dress on again this Thursday and see if any more alterations need done.
    Ive got someone coming out to do mine and my mums make up but need to organise someoen to do my fiances sisters make up, shes 23 but mental age of 12? Dont really want to ask the other girls to do it cause they dont really know how to deal with her that well, was hoping to maybe find someone who can come out to the house and do it for her and anyone else. Girl doing me and my mum can only do us as she is doing me another massive favour on the day and wont be able to stay too long.
    Not bothering with anything else this weekend, too ill to even start stressing out lol

    Hope u have a fab hen night, mine was last week and I couldnt have asked for a better day.
    If the weddings half as good as last week it will still be an amazing day, my girls done me proud x

    Getting excited about my Hen Night on Sunday now, I haven't got a clue what we are doing which is amusing the OH no end as he does. At least my friends know I don't like anything over the top, so hopefully it will be something like bowling and a meal.
    Our Mini-moon is all booked now, I can't wait to get away for a couple of days. Have a beautiful little lodge over looking the Avon valley and planning a day out in Salisbury and Bath.
    Still got loads to do as have about 7/8 people staying over for the wedding too, so our lovely little cafe down the road which is owned by a friend is going to open up early that morning so we can go for brekkie saving me a job.
    Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Just noticed a few people saying they are ill, me too!! Wedding is 2nd September and I have been ill for the past week and a half with cold/virus type thing. VERY annoying as it has held me back a week with my planning :/ Argh! Here's hoping everyone feels a lot better soon xx
  • It's getting to the nitty-gritty here... luckily got a few days off this week to sort out a few bits but it's never-ending!

    To do/buy:

    * Biggest thing I need to sort is a DJ. This was supposed to be my H2B's responsibility but he's been so busy at work that he's barely had time to think so we're sitting down tonight and contacting a few people for a quote.

    * H2B's suit.

    * Centre-pieces. I can't be bothered with trying to make anything any more... I don't have time :D going to get a company to do us helium balloons instead so it's less for me to sort.

    * Sweets for sweet buffet. Trying to leave those until the week of the wedding or else they might start going missing prematurely. Started sourcing suitable receptacles from charity shops.

    * Posy and buttonholes. Think we're making them ourselves so just need to get the ribbon in advance.

    * A friend of my Mum's does wedding make-up as a job and she's doing me a freebie. She's coming up next week for a play to see what I want doing.

    * Scrapbook/guest book - will find something on amazon/ebay.

    Sorted:

    * My outfit - dress, shrug, shoes (heels and flats), petticoat, underwear, veil and jewellery all sorted. My Mum's doing my hair because I don't trust anyone else with my curly mess.

    * Rings bought

    * Venue and food - registry office paid for, venue informed of food choices... just need to confirm final numbers a week before.

    * Cupcakes - a mate is doing them at mates rates.

    * Photos - as above, a professional photographer mate is doing our pictures at half price.

    * Scoops and bags for sweet buffet - bought from amazon.

    * Hotel for us to retire to - hope they have enough bacon for our inevitable hangovers :D

    I hope there's nothing I've forgotten but I'm getting a bit beyond being bothered!

    First hen night is a week on Friday (boozy night down town) and the second one is a week after that (sedate meal with the family)... time is just coming round far too quickly.

    Hope everyone else is coping alright!

    Yep same here - am thinking if I'm going to be ill, at least it's now so hopefully should be cleared up by the wedding!
