This time in 2 weeks i'll be married :eek: i can't actually believe how quickly it has come around. Still have so much to do and today was my last day off until the Wednesday before the wedding and so many appointments and things to do.

I've still got to do the following:

- make 3 signs for my flip flop baskets
- make a sign for my sweetie table
- get more sweets
- make more thank you cards
- make table plan
- make place names
- sort out gift bags for presents or wrap them
- do something with disposable cameras
- chase up RSVP's
- make a list of photos that we want taken
- make a list of songs that we want played

That's all i can think of just now but i know i've probably forgotten something important... i always do!!

Hows everyone else feeling??

Any of you ladies feeling a bit...Meh about the wedding like I am? I can't wait to marry h2b but think I'm just a bit tired and...peopled out and I'm not looking forward to spending yet another day talking to people, having the same conversation over and over.

How on earth are you guys handling the whole everyone arriving for the wedding and wanting to meet up beforehand stuff? Work is so busy that I cant get time off before Thursday, leave early or take long lunches.

I've got guests from Australia arriving but staying in the nearest city which is 20 miles away from where I live, I still have to do placecards, tablenames, washing and packing for the honeymoon, clean the house so we can all get ready there, get travel insurance, make up the favours (everything has to be dropped at the venue for Thursday), meet with the photographer, confirm music with the band finalize the cars, get cds for photos to leave on the tables, do some clay wraps, get my colour done etc. Obviously my guests have come from the other side of the world to see us, but I'm panicking about how I can see them and get everything done.

OMG Code I dont know how you are coping, hopefully by now you have roped some ppl in to help you out.
I had a wee stressed out moment earlier today cause I was sooooooo busy, I had a big order for 130 goody bags, 30 balloons and 4 hampers. I know silly for taking the order on so close to the wedding but I was thinking of the cash. Anyway its all over and done with now, so back into wedding planning from now.
I cant sleep cause too many things are going round in my head so Ive taken the laptop to bed with me so I can make up sweet labels and think of an idea to jazz up my place settings as they are too plain for my liking lol.
Just remembered I also still hav eto buy my wee page boy (5) a present, got his wee sister who is my flower girl a hannah montanah perfume set and a wee smelly set that fits in with the sweet buffet just need to come up with something for him too. Also just remembered that I need to pick the readings for my other 2 wee cousins to do on the day so they dont feel left out lol.
Arghhhhhh lol

hello all just back from our mini-moon and am now a Mrs!!! It was a wonderful day and couldn't have gone any better. Nothing went wrong and I only had 2 meltdowns, one because I couldn't find my purple cardi for the evening (which I didn't even need in the end the weather was so nice) and pulled the house apart, finding it in the end in the bag that wanted to go in the car of my spare shoes and stuff. And the other when I got to the venue and couldn't see my dad's car and didn't know if he had come. But he was just hiding inside. It all went well and my little bridesmaid looked so gorgous if hyper after attacking her sweetie basket.
It was great to see all of my family together and both families got on really well. Even my 93 year old Grannie enjoyed herself and didn't want to go home.
The things that went down really well were
The relaxed attitude of the wedding
The Hogroast
The afternoon tea especially the strawberries and cream, and cups of tea in china cups. Everyone said it was the best meal they have ever had at the wedding and it hardly cost a thing.
The sweetie buffet, I can not recommend this enough. It really broke the ice and was so funny to see my 40 year old cousins eating pick a mix with the biggest smiles on their faces. It all went, the only bit I feel down about is I didn't get any myself. Was also great to see my friend's 20 month old stuffing sweets into my FIL's mouth.

Bit of advice though, take some spare comfy shoes with you, and enjoy yourself. I just went with the flow at the reception and was only found behind the bar twice serving (I work at my reception venue).

Congratulations vesper. Do we get to see photos?

Finished up work until after the honeymoon which is great as I can now relax a little. Finished the favours last night and still left with 4kg of haribo as I had a mental block when ordering. Got a Tesco delivery with breakfast items (bacon, sausages, rolls, pastries etc) coming tonight.

I'm on antibiotics for an infected eye which flared up on Monday. After a massive panic that I was going to look like the elephant man, touch wood the antibiotics seem to be clearing it up nicely.

Still need to sort currency for the honeymoon and pack. We have a meeting at the venue today so all the decorations and so on have to be taken there, which will clear the box mountain.

Im 1 week tomorrow and having a total panic and wanting everything done lol.
Hope ur eye is cleared asap.
Im on the hunt for stuff to make my table plan today and hopefully picking up the bridesmaid flowers that were forgotten about last week!
