That's great news. Keep them updates coming in. It's great to hear some first hand experience of using e-conveyancers

Never heard of that company, but the conveyancers my buyer used(one of the UK's biggest) were terrible, so bad that for the rest of my life I will refuse to deal with any buyer who are not using a solicitor.

They didn't have a clue what they were doing, they were getting everything wrong, in the wrong order, and delayed the sale by at least 8 weeks. The seller I was buying from very nearly pulled out, it came down to the last 30 minutes(exchange took 4 days!), believe me you really don't need that stress level.

Hi, I just instructed conveyancing warehouse due to this thread. My partner wanted to use a solicitor he has used before, and it was double the price. I think it should be an uncomplicated case a freehold house, no chain. I won because he has credit card debts he is still trying to pay off, and I am footing the bill! I will also update on how things go.

I hope all goes well... I'll be to blame otherwise :)Apprently there is a letter at home today from them... basic stuff really... just advising that the lender will not release funds until I prove I have buildings insurance for the property. Also they request the money from the lender the day before completion (to ensure there are no delays on the day)... I don't have a problem with this although it does mean I pay interest for one day extra (and presumably the solicitor benefits from interest too).... I remember reading somewhere here that you can claim back any interest earned by a solicitor, not sure how this would work though because whatever you look at it, the lender has released the funds sooner.I can choose not to do this if I want to.... not sure yet..

We are just about to instruct a local solicitor, but this thread is slowly changing my mind as it could save us a lot of money. DAN and MARYJANE, please keep posting of how things are going and anyone else who has or is using conveyancing-warehouse.com

    Thanks

    Latest update from.... :)

Things continue to move along fairly smoothly... there are a few legal issues to address but we are aiming to complete mid/end August

Conveyancing Warehouse continue to do a very speedy job... in fact most of the work on my move seems to be carried out by someone called Emma... she seems to be doing a grand job and is keeping me updated by letter, phone and email. So far I can't really fault them, they are pushing through my sale/purchase where clearly they are waiting on the other parties solicitors to catch up!!

I took a gamble on them (I think I read that one other person from the board had used them and was happy) but so far it is a case of so good - if I had any reservations I would not recommend them on here.

Of course it might still go pearshaped... hopefully not though :P

We instructed over the internet on Wednesday 26th July, the documents and forms they sent us arrived on August 28. The mail was franked August 26 though. Prompt at the first stage (but I guess they do want our £200 cheque!)

We sent off our identification documents, £200 cheque etc. on Saturday. We received all our documents back this morning! They would have received them yesterday then got them back out again in the post the same day. We are waiting on our mortgage application to be approved and surveys done now, so I don't expect I will have anythingmore to add here for at least a few weeks.
