I often write to to the lovely Tescolditz .... Simply can't stand it when I get items virtually free with vouchers and they turn out to be sub standard ... :rotfl: ...

Ha ha ... I digress ... any way they normally respond to my 'complaints' ... funny word as I'm very polite ... about food/groceries within 7 days and simply send a moneycard ... £3 for anything under a pound ... and £5 for items £2-£3 ... I do currently have complaint pending that has taken over 10 days ... think they may be busy ...

I once bought some of there own brand dog chews that made my dogs v-ill on two seperate occasions ... I wrote and they forwarded my complaint to a fabulous company in Germany who make all their pet stuff ... they found nothing wrong with the chews but called me and said they would pay half my vets bills as a goodwill ... which was £50 ...

Normally I would say they are quite good over complaints ....

It is 2 weeks since I complained to Tescos and I have heard nothing. I know that some of their cafes are now run by another company - but even so I would hope that they would at least acknowledge my complaint.

I wrote to Tesco about a yoghurt, never got a reply. I wasn't expecting much from them though.

I got a £5 voucher from Sainsburys within a few days after complaining about some kitchen roll. I was very impressed with them. And £15 from M&S after a candle I bought there exploded. Still got burn marks on my table though.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

hubby and i had an awful meal at a wetherspoons pub waited 35 min for food to be served to be told it was our fault we should have enquired about our food sooner then when food arrived it had obviously just been sitting in the kitchen for 35 mins as it was cold, we were so hungry by then we ate the food and left. i complained online and recieved a letter apologising for the problems and promised to train there staff to a better standard. no compensation for a bad meal, bad service & bad staff attitude. so we have voted with our feet we no longer use wetherspoons pubs. we only wanted the cost of our meal back in vouchers the whole meal with drinks was only £12 not a lot to ask for a bad eating experiance.
it has not put me off of complaining if a product or service is not right.

Just opened a jar of Hipp Organic Baby Food, Banana Yoghurt Breakfast, to give to my 9 month old and there is a dead fly in it! What does everyone suggest I do? I have sent Hipp an email.

UPDATE: Just received a letter and £10.00 of vouchers for baby food. The can confirm it was a fruit fly "But feel it was unlikely it entered the jar during the production process as the fly was undamaged." Not impressed with their response, will be emailing them again.

I am just going through complaint at the moment but this has been dragging on for ages. I bought my kitchen in 2004 from Hygena at curry's and bought all apliances and appliance cover for 6 items OR SO I THOUGHT. Hygena kept the agreements in a safe place for me but when they ceased trading in curry's they didn't post them on. i have been onto currys, hygena and mastercare to find i have no agreements for any of my items which cost over 500.00 giving them till monday to give me a decent reply. Any ideas of whet i should do now?
Also Talk Talk really screwed up but thats another moan.

  • Want to express my thanks to all you lovely people who made me think about complaining to nestle the other day about some kit kats i had brought which didnt have any wafer in, the lady on the other end of the phone was lovely when i explained my daughter has a sensory disorder and couldnt understand why the wafers were not there, she said to say it was the easter bunny being naughty, and this morning i got a cheque for £4 and a letter about the easter bunny too, it was nice to know someone had a sense of humour.

    thank you

Has anyone ever complained to Starbuck's?
If so, what address did you write to and what was the outcome?
    Thanks
