Not a letter, but a free phone call! Got kingsmill brown buns on BOGOF! One pack had raisins at the bottom of some of the buns called them to let them know, they asked for code details on pack, apologised explained how it must have happened .... got £5 worth of vouchers in the post within 5 days

Innocent smoothies ... bottle exploded (youngest left it out over night, got home from work to kids room re-decorated in smoothies :rolleyes: )emailed them to let them know of naughty exploding bottles ... they sent us 10 bottles of smoothies (diff varieties) as a sorry .... eventhough it wasn't their fault .... very very kind of them :T also got a free freezer/cooler pack with it

After reading your post I also complained to Pizza Hut through the 'how to complain' website, after my local restaurant not honouring a deal that was on their leaflets! about 2 months later I have received a £10 voucher from Pizza Hut.

I opened a tin of sainsbury's dog food,out of a multi-pack of 12, and found it was full of white mould, my dog had been ill for days, and when i phoned and complained, they said they would refund me 4.99 on my Nectar card, dont think I ever got it though. Have since stopped buying there dog food, as my dog could have died from food poisoning.

Wrote to Clipper Teas to tell them about the organic green tea I'd bought. I couldn't get the normal green tea so bought the more expensive organic only to find it was really bitter and didn't infuse well.

This morning I got a package with a nice apology letter saying they think it was a bad batch and pride themselves on quality teas. They'd sent a replacement box of the organic tea, a box of fairtrade tea and a big box of the normal green tea. I was really pleased, never expected anything like that.

Emailed Maybellene to tell them I really liked the foundation mousse I'd bought and complimenting it. Got a lovely letter back thanking me for the positive feedback and a £4 voucher as a gift, thought it was really nice of them. :T

I got £15 cheque from Bernard Mathews for a sliver of bone in their lamb roast.Not bad considering I only paid 75p in the reduced section for it! By the way it was pretty awful and didn't taste of anything much.

i complained to alied bakerys about doe found in a loaf of bread it had not been cooked properly sent email got £5 and a kind letter saying sorry.

I e-mailed Boots customer services complaining that the advantage machine in my local Boots was always out of order and it was frustrating hearing everyone say they got free gifts offered them. I have just got a reply apologising and giving me 500 points.

Me and my mum went halves on a tin of quality street and celebrations (2 for £9), when we split the quality street in half there were 2 strawberry creams, seeing as these are my favourite I was not happy bout having to share 1 with my OH. So e-mailed nestle and explained, within a week I got a cheque for £4 and an apology. I went to woolies and bought some more strawberry creams in pic-n-mix with the money! :j

Ive got a problem with Tescos at the moment.
I ordered some wine 8 wks ago, tried to cancel it online later that evening & for several days after, but it wouldnt let me. I rang their customer services who tried to cancel it for me, but they couldnt, & was told they would get back to me, they didnt. rang the next day & was told that their technicians were looking into the problem & that it would be cancelled that evening & someone would ring me to confirm, they didnt, so rang the next day & was told that it was cancelled. the wine turned up! I refused the order, but the money was taken from my credit card & ive been ringing & emailling trying to get a refund ever since. Ive lost count of the amount of times ive rang customer services & the Tesco branch where the order came from.Each time ive rang ive been given various excuses & been told to leave it with them & that some one would get back to me, & none have. I emailed head office on Sunday & did actually recieve an email on Monday morning stating that it was receiving their attention, but havent heard anything since. Can anyone advise me on where to go next? Thanks
