I had an absolute fiasco with B & Q with regards to our kitchen! After numerous phone calls to their incompetent call centre and then eventually getting through to their head office we were told that someone was dealing with our complaint. Long and short of it is that we recieved a cheque for £265 for our troubles!!What the Deuce?0

Hi
Recently took our car to garage to have 2 new tyres fitted. Got back in the car to find that it had been jacked up in the wrong place and there was a great big lump under the pedels.
Garage had a look at it and couldn't work out how it had happened! Jack in wrong place - not too hard to work out. No real apology from them. They collected the car on the next monday (1st day of half term) took it away for 4 days fixed the car and put new floor in. we had to borrow a car to go on holiday!
Phoned them when we got back to find out what they had done to car etc and what compensation we would be getting.? 2 cheap tyres or half price exhaust! - don't think so.
So phoned head office spoke to another manager about problem - he will phone us straight back - 4 days later no reply.
We have had to phone several managers - all on mobile numbers and don't seem to be getting anywhere!
What do we do next - any ideas?

Sounds like it's time to put stuff in writing and address it to their head office (send it recorded so someone has to sign for it), you could also send a copy to the local trading standards. Work out what compensaton you want to receive rather than waiting for them to come up with something.0

about two weeks ago i went into boots and asked at the No7 booth if they had any sample moisturisers because i get very dry and sensitive skin . but before i could mention that i was allergic to lanolin, she was slaping a moisturiser on my face and was like a robot stuck in a loop about how all these products are great for sensitive skin!!!
question is do you think i should complain as although the item did not contain lanolin ,it could have done and if it did i would have had a very swolen red face!!!
I had a psycho no.7 sa who stalked me round the shop and was really very strange. It left me very upset, but after a few phone calls, the manager couldnt care less and eventually sent me a £10 giftcard. Nothing was done about the sa, so just try to avoid her whenever possible now.
But its worth complaining about imo, i used to have terrible reactions to no.7 but thankfully am ok now. If you do complain, let me know how you get on please!:beer:0 -
I had a strange experience with a boots no7 SA, I was buying a few NO7 items and she grabed my basket off me and insisted that I pay her there and then, wouldn't let me look around the store. (apparently they work on commision)
I complained firstly to the store manager, who didn't seem to bothered, so I e-mailed HO.
Result £15 credited to my advantage card.
Few weeks later I went back in and she just asked me if I needed any help, so much nicer.0 -

No - but the title needs to changeI complained to tescos cs that some meat I have bought had something in it, like metalic shavings. Told them I had phoned online cs first and they told me to come into the store to fill out a report. Got my money refunded and, after a couple of week a £10 money card apologising. Was only a tiny amount and their manufacturers didn't admit to anything so they said it was a goodwill gesture but they did acknowlegde there was something in it.
Whatever it was and however miniscule the shavings were, at least I got a result and free shopping.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Found what appeared to be a small piece of wood in a pack of McCoys. I sent it to them, and they responded with £6 vouchers and a two page letter explaining the origin of the wood. Turns out it was actually a potato stalk, that "after frying, adopts a woody twig like appearance, despite its original fleshy vegetable origin". Their words, not mine... I think I love them0
