Thanks for that.
Need the address thoughLife is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

OK, folks. I called KFC's head office today and got their address. It's bizarre. You ring them and a nice receptionist puts you through to their "address line" which is basically a recorded message. Why they don't just put the thing on their web page, I don't know.
Anyway, The address is:
Yum Restaurants International
32 Goldsworth Road
Woking
Surrey
GU21 6JT
Hope that is what you were looking for.0 -
Latest successes:
Onlinegolf - they cocked up an order for a £49 set of waterproofs so I was offered any waterproofs on their site for free - so chose £250 set as they were the only ones that were in stock at the right size - plus also got three dozen free golf balls
Orange - two months free broadband as they coudn't activate the talk service
Carphone Warehouse - £20 credit for cocking up an order
It pays to send a quick email if there are problems you normally get something0 -
I complained to Peacocks head office last week about the awful state of their store here, and the manager rang me the other night to thank me for the comments, he is striving to improve the store and trying to recruit more staff to deal with the issue.
I would rather shop in a nice store than get any vouchers though. If it does improve, then i will get back to him and thank him.
I think we should do this more often though, not just complain when something goes wrong with a purchase.0 -
NoHiya, sorry if I get this wrong - I'm new to the board. I hope someone can help - over a year ago I was given a pair of remington wet2straight hair straighteners as a birthday present. Today they stopped working - I know that they have a 3 year guarantee - but I don't have the receipt!! Am I entitled for a replacement product without the receipt??
I also don't know where to send them (any one got an address for Remington returns?)
Would be so grateful for any help regarding my rights/what I should do next. Thanks guysXXX0 -
NoI have had many complaint successes:
Hipp baby food:- The contents of the jar was a funny texture and smelt horrid. Emailed them, recieved an email the next day with an apology and an explanation. Then recieved £3 in vouchers the following day! The baby food only cost 60 odd pence.:D
Pampers:- Several nappies leaked and i wasnt happy with the absorbency. Emailed pampers on the friday nite, recieved an apology and an explanation on the monday. Recieved £15 vouchers on the thursday!
Cadburys:- Complained about the contents of Milk tray i recieved as a gift. there was white patches on almost all of the chocolates. Emailed them and recieved £8 gift voucher
Huggies:- Found some sort of dead insect inside the flap of the nappie where the elasticated part is for the legs. Emailed them, just recieved an apology and explanation. They too are sending gift vouchers. Just have to wait.0 -

I had a problem with remington straighteners myself a few months ago, the cord just snapped off.
I didn't have a receipt either. Just called up their customer service, number is 0800 212438 9am - 4.30pm mon-thurs 9am - 3pm fri.
They were very helpful gave me a freepost address to send straighteners back to, and within a few days I had received a brand new set.
hope this helps0 -
complained to littlwoods as they took so long to be delivered. They were over 8weeks late and i had to take a few days off work unpaid to wait in (when they said they will be dlivered and most of the time wasnt!). The staff there wasnt helpfull one bit either! Was very upset with the way i was treated!
All i got back was a letter of apology. I will not be using them again! I spent over £300 with them and not even a voucher or anything!wins 2008: nada0
