Complaint Letter Successes

I received £10 of vouchers from Farmfoods after the assistant in my local branch called my Mum & I liars over a 2 for £1 deal on Oreos. Assistant was adamant they were 60p a packet. Not according to the sign on the shelf! Head office weren't impressed with the assistants attitude and answered my email complaint very quickly then sent the vouchers out a day later. Let's hope the same assistant is around when I go back to spend them...0

hi
this is my first post,so please bear with me,but could do with some advise and not sure if i have posted this in the right place.
I purchased some organic bread from sainsburys online delivery service, and then put it in the freezer as i always do.
But when OH got it out to his horror and amazement,he found what looked like a dead baby wasp on the inside of the wrapper.I asked him to put it back in the freezer, so I could contact them, as not sure if they would want wrapper or the whole loaf.
I phoned them not long ago (helpful assistant!), she was amazed but just asked for the place of purchase, barcode, etc. And then told that would have a refund of £3 on my nectar card.
But here is where I need the help-what happens if we had not noticed the wasp? i know these are what ifs.
But I do not think it is appropriate. Do i still send the wrapping off to sainsburys so they actually look into the problem and investigate (as they might have a wasp infestation), or just forget about it.
Please help?
Kind regards

I would suggest contacting your local Trading Standards office (details should be in the phone book) and see what they say.0

As someone else has pointed out you should always send positive feedback as well. I used to work for IKEA Nottingham and we had a wall by the staff room for good and bad comments received. A good letter really makes your day and a bad one makes you think a bit more.0

Sweetboy wrote:I complained to Tesco's about the quality and lack of their fruit and veg - they actually had mouldy oranges on display! All i got back was a letter saying they would look into why that happened?! After the recent announcements of how much profit Tesco's make you'd think that they could put a voucher in with that letter!!
I agree with how bad the service at Tesco is, I once tried to buy alchol there and was told I didn't look 18 (I was 23 at the time) and she wouldn't serve me, I was to take it as a compliment apparently, which would be fine, but she did serve my younger brother (16 at the time), I complained to the manager who took my details but I never heard anything. I should of gone to the police about it.Nice to save.0 -

I complained to them the other day about misleading price indications and am waiting to hear back from them.they wouldnt give me a response over the phone, said i would receive a letter
thanks for the 'phone number, misleading prices seems to be a special at morrisons. the customer service staff at our local branch all seem to have been trained by Basil Fawlty.0 -
NoI wrote a letter to George at ASDA, it was really nicely worded saying I always buy underwear from them but the most recent bra I'd bought had really scratched my chest because the underwiring had come out after the first wear.

I sent a complaint to Febreze because the spray mechanism didn't work properly and it leaked every time I'd spray something. They sent me a £5 voucher to use on any of the P&G product range. With the voucher I got some daz washing tablets and lenor fabric softener!!!0
