I've tried looking for an addy to contact Challenge but cant find anything anywhere, not even on the box or on the instructions. Hi i would complain, i did this (wrote about it in an earlier post) for my daughters mattress. I bought her new bed last october and the matress was very uncomfortable looking, you could feel the springs. I did have the delivery note and order number still as proof and they sorted it out really quickly for me and sent a new one all within about a week and a half.
I say you dont get anything unless you ask. I e-mailed them about mine but for a smaller item would probably go into the shop and if no joy then i would e-mail them. A shredder should certainly last longer than that!!

I've just written a 3 page complaint to a restaurant we ate in on Saturday.
We went for 'all day brunch' menu at 1.45pm. It was a complete shambles. At first we had a good giggle because it was so surreal. The manager threw one of our party such a look fo asking for a bread roll, that she almost cried.
Total bill for 4 of us...............£127. that was after we refused to pay the service charge of 12.5%. We left at 5.10pm. Lucky we wasn't in a hurry!!!
Will have to see what results from the letter. Don't hold much hope, the manager said 'They (meaning the owners) won't care what you say'
Its a brand new place near the Excel centre.
I'll name and shame if they don't try and put it right. It was no joke

I wrote a letter of complaint to Johnsons the cleaners, complaining about their extortionate prices. OH has been a loyal customer of theirs since becoming a teacher, however, whe have moved from crewe, where it cost £10 to get two suits done, to Ashton under Lyne, near Oldham. It is now costing £21 to get two suits cleaned, for that he could buy them as many of his suits are from a charity shop.
this was the reply I got:-
"Thank you for your e-mail. The prices in our branches are out of our control, however, I will send some complimentary vouchers as a gesture of goodwill"
My point is that if you go into ASDA you do note expect to pay double in another part of the country. Even franchises such as KFC have a pricing system to ensure fairness. Plus OH gets at least 2 suits drycleaned a fortnight, and there are no other dry cleaners locally, therefore, I want this complaint to have an impact!
Can anyone give me any advice as how to proceedThe sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0 -
NoI recently purchased a pack of Birds Eye 100% Cod Fillet Mini Fish Fingers from Tescos (only £1.00). But when I cooked them the kids discovered they were totally black and grey inside. I know fish fingers sometimes have dark bits inside but these were horrible. The kids rarely have fish fingers but this has totally put them off eating them again.
I e-mailed Birds Eye with the batch code and best before date. Stating I was not happy with the quality of the product and saying it is not what I expect from Birds Eye.
I received a letter in the post today apologising saying that the fish is caught and frozen at sea and although every effort is made to remove fish muscle before freezing sometimes the bigger fish possess a bigger thicker layer of muscle which escapes the trimming process. They enclosed a £5 gift voucher to be used on any Birds Eye, Walls, Carte Dor, Magnum product!0 -
