I would go to the top lol - head office and say you were missold and ask if theyll honour their salesman?
TBH I have the warranty thing which suits me great as thinks break in our house - destructive fairies - just had the screen renewed on my laptop free of charge (over enthusiastic cleaning lol)Happy with any wins this year :A0 -
A couple of months ago I bought 20 plug plants for hanging baskets from seed catalogue Thompson Morgan. 6 of the plants just withered away. Sent email to the company who in return, and within a week, sent me 20 fresh plants - so full order replacement. Very pleased as they are now flourishing in my extra hanging baskets.0

I went to a seafood restaurant which has 2 branches. I got food poisoning and was forced to pay; I asked if the one dish that had made me ill could be taken off the bill and I was threatened with police action so I paid and left as I was too sick to argue. This was from the manager. I hear the owner flits between the 2 branches so was planning to write to (him?) at the other one but I don't know if (he?) will get it...I was upset and it ruined my summer holiday; a grand 28 hours away as it's all I can afford.
Hmmm, I HATE the compensation brigade with a passion, and I am a full supporter of the be-nice camp and explain your situation, however I feel you may have a good case here.
Food poisoning is really serious stuff, and I genuinely feel like you haven't been treated very well (judging by your one post!), plus you've actually lost out quite a bit due to it being your holiday.
I would write a letter, recorded delivery. Ask for a response within 7 days and say that otherwise you will seek legal advice.
As I said, I am normally well against it, but I do think you have the right to with what you've said.Amo L'Italia0 -

i have now phoned customer services 2 times and they cant get through to the plymouth branch so they have sent them yet another email to ring me, im getting very anoyed with pc world now.
I had a very bad experience with PC World recently so I sent a long detailed letter to their customer service team (PC World Customer Service, Customer Contact Centre, PO Box 1687, Sheffield, S2 5YA). Sent it recorded delivery and got a phone call a few days later from very apologetic customer service and £10 voucher (not enough if you ask me but better than nothing!) I had to ring the PC Performance people separately (same customer service number I think) to cancel that, which was pretty easy and effective immediately, so I would suggest doing that.
Hope that help! Sorry about your bad experience too...wins for 2008: £548.500 -

I was being nice and I don't even want compensation; just a refund of the meal which made me ill as I am still recovering and left the place in tears after being bullied into paying and got no sympathy when I was clearly red inthe face from being sick.0 -
NoI rung proctor and gamble i think it was about their new infusions fabric softner. It genuinely gives me and another member of my family asthma(use loads of other fabric softners without problems).
Anyway, i rang to tell them as i thought they should know. I didn't ask for a thing and genuinely was not after anything. I was over the moon when a £15 voucher turned up for other various products of theirs .0 -
No - but the title needs to change£4 voucher from tesco's for washing powder which caused a rash. Bit stingy I thought!Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!

Hi ya,
Does anyone have an email address for Lidl?
I bought some sugar snap peas from there today and had an unexpected piece of meat in there in the way of a caterpillar!!! It has pooped all over the peas and chopped through all the bottom layer.
Obviously I am not going to eat them as way too grossed out.
Anyone think I should keep the caterpillar or send it on its merry way? Never really had an experience like this with animals in my food.
Any advice is much appreciated.
xx
Is anyone able to help me with my above post please?
Thanks. xx0
