Well its just been picked up to be "fixed" AGAIN!!! i'll let you know the outcome. I'm just about to fire off a letter to PC World & Compaq too because I don't think it's good enough to buy a £500 laptop that has this many problems in 6 months!!!!

Make sure you keep all copies of letter that you send to them and the ones they send back to you.

    hope all goes well

A few months ago I complained to KitKat about a biscuitless KitKat and they sent me a cheque for £3.00 only they made it out to the wrong name, so that was a bit of a waste. I couldn't be bothered to write back to ask for them to correct it.

I'm not entirely sure they don't do it on purpose -- my name is Chris, yet a £3 cheque I have from them stating that I am, as well as promised the sum of three pounds, the Messiah... :O

My problem with KitKat was that one half of my bar was really strong unbite-able wafer, and the other half was mainly (but not entirely) chocolate. Very weird. And not at all nice!
WON: £10 book token * Heroes Season 1 Boxset DVD * Another £10 book token * Two books -- one awful, one probably the best I have ever read: The Shadow of the Wind...

    Lots
of freebies, and some successful complaints :D Thanks people.

    Hello
Would anyone have some contact details for me for "SIMPLE"...?
On their website there is either a form to fill in or a phone number - I would quite like to get an email address, or mail, as I would like to include some pics (my deodorant stick just broke into pieces after a couple of weeks :( , its unusable now - first time I was going for a known, more expensive, brand of deodorant  )

    Thank you

well I got today 2 new sticks from them :j , plus a letter and a label to send my broken stick back (freepost) - so that they can check if there is something wrong with it.
also told me that because its for sensitive skin, there are quite q few products they don't use so the stick is softer than others ... so maybe actually i was a bit too rough when using it ... i think it's highly possible, it should be only a few mm sticking out, :o

I had kept the stick, although I couldn't use it, so I'll send it.

Edit: right I'm not having much luck this month, but my clinique expensive eyeshadow completly felt apart, it's a mess

HA! Why would they think that your name actually was Christ?

I even sent them the remains of the KitKat. Perhaps we should complain again. Only I don't want to have to waste money on a stamp. Just easier to let it alone.

I stayed 2 nights at The Premier Inn in Birmingham and the bathroom was filthy. I wrote an email of complaint to them and within 1 week they sent me a cheque refunding BOTH nights and apologising - they also stated that the housekeeping staff had gone through full retraining - which Im sure they needed

Now I know this wasn't me! they are saying it wassn't them! When my laptop left my house it was wokring apart from the fan! After a long convo wtih them i then rang the customer service dept who said the same thing! He asked if they sent photos back with laptop as they should have. They didn't he then rang the technician came back on the phone to me & said well there was water damage to laptop from spillage or left in damp!!! He said oh they no longer take photos of the damage but you can send it back and pay £120 for assesment then cost of parts! or claim on house insurance!! Why should I do that when it wasn't me that spilt anything on it! I'm fuming! It's there word against mine and I'm a t a loss!! £500 down the drain!!! Any help would be appreciated
