    Hi!
If you hit a deer an did all that damage to your car I would be very supprised if the animal was ok! Don't you have to report such a collision to the police or is that just domestic animals?

It was reported to the police, the RSPCA and the Windsor Park Wardens, it was fine, they found it and I called the next day to check if it was OK. I dont want to get into a debate about the actual accident, I was upset enough that I may have hurt the stag, I am an avid animal lover, you may even see from some of my other posts that I have rescue cats, I just wanted a light hearted opinion on if I should write to the queen and complain as they are her stags.

I am sure you know you do not need a receipt to return an item when it is faulty.
i remember once doing that with a pair or trainers that split. I did not have the receipt but they were only a few weeks old. The smart-!!! shop assistant said that they wont refund/replace without a receipt. I said I did not need one she then said but you do as how do i know you bought them from here? To which I told her if I have bought them from somewhere else I would be standing somewhere else having this argument.

    She promptly swapped the trainers.

I had the same problem at Asda, we'd been bought a freeview box from there and it wasn't one of their own brand ones. We didn't use it til we moved house and then when we did we found that we couldn't get a signal, so as it was £100 I took it back. Because I had no receipt (it was a gift) they wouldn't even give us credit on a gift card because they argued it could have been bought from anywhre. I said I was hardly likely to do a 30 mile round trip to their store knowing that it was from somewhere else... Wouldn't budge though... Luckily, i've grown up with someone who works on a customer services desk in another store and therefore took it to her and she sorted it for me... just cost me a tenner in deisel and half a day to do it!

I once emailed KP because I sed to love their Flame Grilled Steak McCoys. But when I became vegetarian I couldn't eat them. Then I discovered that the multipack crisps had a vegetarian label on them so started eating them. But single packs didn't so I emailed to ask why they couldn't make them all vegetarian (i thought it was something to do with them being manufactured in different factories...like the mars confectionary - the full size bars are made in England and vegetarian, but odd sizes like boxes of maltesers, or celebrations, are made abroad and use non vegetarian whey powder). Anyway they emailed back saying that they were very sorry but none of them were vegetarian it was a mistake! And they asked for my address and sent me £9 vouchers...which I thought was ok at the time but thinking back maybe I should have asked for more as I could have been traumatised that someone had tricked me into eating meat!
  • When I was about 8 I didn't get my free stickers in the packet of Rice Crispies so I wrote in and got about 6 packs of stickers free!!

More recently I ordered a pizza online from Pizza Hut, when it came it didn't have the correct toppings, didn't have any sauces with it and I found a big black hair in it. I got sent back £15 of vouchers so was pretty pleased, though it put me off a bit...

    Yes
I cannot even find those details...do you have an address to which I can write that you could give me, please?

They told me I could return sale items, I did return 3 out of 12 items the day aftet purchase and was then told no and was verbally abused by 3 members of staff and left the store on the verge of tears.

I used the on line form at first http://www.zavvi.co.uk/contactus.jsf

You can also crate and account and contact them via that.

How do you find out who the MD of a company is and how do you find their email add?
I am not normally the type of person to complain, lifes too short but I have just had the most shockingly bad experience from a store called Savers Health and Beauty ( cross between boots and superdrugs)
Anyway to cut a long story short, the lady made a very vindictive and threatening remark towards me:mad:
I am so angry, my head is going to explode.
I found the website of aswatson which is the group which owns the brand but the contacts email on there was returned:confused: . I dont just want the customer service as this is way too serious, I want the top man/women.
    any advice?

Would people advise emailing or writing to companies to complain? I bought some flowers from Tescos...I never usually buy flowers as it seems like spending money on nothing but thought I would trat myself...they were lillies and only one bud opened (and it was already open when I bought them). All of the others just dropped off :S

OK, this may seem a bit strange but just want to get your thoughts.

A few months ago I was travelling along the Windsor Relief Road (dual Carriageway) on my way to work when a Stag ran out in front of me, I hit the stag (stag was fine and ran off), but my car was wrecked (£4K worth of damage). My insurance company paid out, but I had to pay an increased excess, I had no hire car and I have lost all of my 10 years no claims bonus because the insurance company class it as an act of god and they have no third party to claim anything back from. I also missed 3 days of work because I had to sort out the car repairs and get a hire car etc. I was extremely shaken but not really hurt and I wouldnt pretend I was so I dont want to make a claim for anything like that, I have just heard that the Queen owns all the Stags in the Windsor parks and thought maybe if I write to her I may be able to get something done about the estate putting up fences to stop the stags being able to run onto the roads. I know I am not going to get a personal reply, but it may do some good, what do you guys think ??

Dont think it will do much good but your insurance company sounds crap!! I work for an insurance company in claims department and if this happened to one of our policyholders it would be the same xs and only 2 years NCD lost, also if you lost 3 days sorting out repairs - your insurance should have done this if you are fully comp. I would have complained to them and put in a LOE claim and see what happens!
