Sent an e-mail to a monthly rock music magazine about the CD that was free in the latest issue, which was damaged, asking if I could have a replacement. Also requested a replacement CD for an older issue (the CD was scratched so badly it was unplayable on my PC). Was sent the first replacement, but they had run out of the other one so they sent me a couple of different ones instead. Since I'm a subscriber I already had these two extra CDs, so I just gave them to a friend who I knew would appreciate them.

I recently returned an empty - but still sealed - sachet of Kenco 2 in 1 white coffee to Kraft foods and today I received an apology letter along with a £5 voucher. Not a bad return as I had bought the box of 10 sachets on a special offer and the price per sachet worked out at 8.5p :)

Hi, I'm writing a complaint letter regarding the delivery of a new kitchen taking 5 months to deliver without any reasons given. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with B&q and details of where to address the letter too?

    Kindest regards

That's brilliant customer service but couldn't you have just put it into a microwaveable bowl and nuked it anyway??;)

Is that the point? If you buy a microwave meal, and then find that it wont work in a microwave, then you have every right to complain!

If you have a Fridge that dont chill your goods then it needs to be returned, does not matter if it costs 50p or £5000! Its the consumer that matters! Its about time people gets this into there heads!

    Ok..... Rant over!

I bought a pack of Cheese Moments that were soggy and gross...

Within 3 days of sending them off i was sent £4.00 in vouchers for walkers products!! Happy Days!

I also complained to walkers, about not being able to read the brit trip codes on some of the individual packets as they were sealed up to tightly and when forced open code was destryed, I even sent some of the packets back to them, like you they sent a reply within days enclosing a £1.50 voucher, Brit Trip codes for all the packets I had enclosed and 50 brit trip points as a good will gesture.

I thought that was very good.

As previously mentioned I complained to Evans over a bra, well I have had a letter back with a £16 pound cheque (the cost of the bra) and a £25 gift card, so I am very happy. x

We stayed in the Aberdeen Hilton using our Tesco Clubcard Deal Vouchers for a weekend. There were lots of problems, staff unhelpful, couldn't find anyone to ask about a meal, cracked cups in the room, taps & shower leaking, over charged for parking and they also tried to insist that I guarantee the full payment against my credit card when we arrived on the Friday even though I had my vouchers, because they said they couldn't take the vouchers til the Sunday! So we filled in the evaluation slip before we left mentioned all these things and got a letter offering us a free weekend in an upgraded room (with chocolates) with free parking & complimentary dinner for 2. We accepted their offer and the standards were excellent so we filled in the evaluation slip complimenting them. So it was worth pointing out the problems and very pleasing that they went to the trouble of showing us that their normal standard was much better.
  • I complained to Asda after bad customer service and just got a sorry lol won;t go there now!
