Hi all,
Does anyone have a contact number or know how I can reach the Headoffice for the Harvester. We had a horrible situation and although I complained to the deputy manager three weeks ago they haven't written to us or sent us a copy of the incident.
Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.0 -
NoHiya, I had a problem with a harvester too......oooh i was not impressed!!!
So I emailed them. Got a call from the manager at the store i complained about 2 weeks later who basically wanted to know what went on....so I told her EVERYTHING (MY COMPLAINT WAS GENUINE)
She offered me 2 main meals on her. I SAID NO WAY...DIDN'T WANT TO GO BACK THERE!! So she offered 2 main meals at a restaurant of my choice...said ok.
I then heard nothing, so i called the below number to chase it up. Received a letter two days later to say the above. I refused that letter and called them and said there was 3 of us so I EXPECT ALL 3 OF US TO RECEIVE COMPLEMENTARY!! Had to send back the letter! few more days later got letter for all 3 of us.
Went to the Harvester at Boreham Wood.......GORGEOUS FOOD, LOVELY SERVICE, CLEAN RESTAURANT.. was very happy indeed. AND WE GAVE THE LETTER INTO THEM AFTERWARDS NOT BEFORE!! And the service was lovely..they even threw in our drinks for free too.
Result - YES
Telephone this Number ok - 0845 700 5050

I got some Marks & Spencer Mince pies one Christmas and inside one of the pies was a crushed up foil case. So I complained vehemently saying that I could have damaged my microwave (even tho I'd never put them in there, but I could have...) & first they sent me £20 of vouchers and said they'd pass the complaint on to the packaging dept. The packaging dept then sent me £25 of vouchers and said they'd pass the complaint on to the bakery dept. The bakery dept then sent me a futher £20 as an apology. What a total !!!!-up at their end! ha ha, their loss was my gain...0

NoHi bought a packet of 8 Chocolate filled Brioche (pasquier), they're about £2.05:eek: but kids like them 4 were not sealed properly & so were stale, as they are so expensive sent the 4 back with a letter, mind you postage was £1! anyway today, I got a parcel containing 2 x packets of 8 brioche an apology letter 2 x almost like freezer bag clips, a pen some balloons, 2 rulers & some stickers.
Not a bad result;)Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

NoMy nivea cream went all funny a few weeks ago for no reason so i sent a letter to the company. A few days ago i recieved a reply asking for the cream as proof because without it they can not do an investigation and i will therefore not get a replacement. I sent the cream and reciept the same day and today i recieved another reply confirming the parcel had reached them. They sent the replacement of the cream and an apology letter stating what happened to the cream and why. :T great responce i'd say.0

Nohello, never really done much complaining, but heres my story...
stayed in a hotel in london last bank holiday weekend for 2 nights, on the second night, some drunken football fans were in the hotel setting off air horns at 2am in the morning and then again at 9am, is it worth complaining? to see what I can get back? any help much appreciated im new to this kind of thing! thanks
Same thing happened to us a couple of years ago and we complained at the time and did not have to pay for our stay. I'm not sure there whether you would get any compensation if you have already paid, but it is worth flagging it, particularly if there was no staff intervention. My complaint when it happened to us was not that other guests were rowdy (not the hotel's fault) but that they failed to take any action when the noise was prolonged.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
