When I was a kid my mum had a cadburys boost bar. Shed not long had false teeth put in so was sucking the boost bar instead of chewing it. She found a hard lump of something in the bar so complained to cadburys. A few days later a man came out in a black rolls royce, wearing a full suit and bollar hat! Being a kid I was most impressed!! Turns out the lump my mum found was a sugar crystal, which wouldn't normaly be noticed because people don't usualy suck boost bars! The man then left my mum a huge box of chocolates as an appology for the inconvinience! :T

My daughter was lactose intolerant and I used to buy the veg and rice in little bags you could cook in the microwave. Birds eye kindly made a change to them and started adding butter, but as I bought them regularly I never checked the ingredients for milk products. I gave them to my daughter and she was quite ill afterwards! I then checked the packet and saw they had made this change and added butter in with the rice & veg. In small print on the front of the packet it now said 'with added butter' but I hadn't noticed as it was small, and a regular product I bought.
I know ultimatly this was my fault, I should have checked the bag every time I bought it, but it really isn't something you expect to change! Anyway I complained to birdseye about the added butter and the fact that the writting on the bag wasn't clear enough to be obvious to regular buyers. They wrote me a lovely letter of appology, sent me £10 in vouchers and sent my daughter a brand named teddy bear! :T

Not a letter but me and my boyfriend went out for dinner at TGIs last year and there was a round date sticker in his food! It said WED lol. Luckily, it was Tuesday.
Anyway, he didn't want to say anything - but I called the manager over and said how terrible it was that one of these stickers had got into our food.
    He gave us free drinks {we chose cocktails obviously lol}

I think it is important to complain when something is wrong. My dad is a huge fan of complaining. Although it's nice to tell people how good they are too. I'm just about to email Aldi to let them know how lovely their local store & staff are.

hi there. i dont normally complain but i sent off these emails at the beginning of the week:
    Good evening.
I am very fond of all your products, which i enjoy experimenting with whilst at tanning salons, but unfortunatly i have a complaint to make.
I purchased Bombshell 100xxBronzer the last time i was at the tanning salon, which did nip quite a bit, which is fine as i know it is a sizzle formula as stated on the packet. About 45 minutes after using the sunbed, i had hugged my partner and my 3 month old son, however a few moments later, my partner said he could feel his skin nipping and my son started crying and one side of his face and his arm became bright red (the side i had held against me) and he was screaming in pain. This lasted at least half an hour, which was awful for me and my partner to watch and nothing would settle him. As this had happened so long after me using a sunbed, i assumed that it would have dried in and not affected anyone else. I have checked the packet and there is nothing on it to say that it may rub off on someone else after using the sunbed or advising to shower after using. I feel that there should be a warning as my baby was very upset.
I look forward to your reply

    Hi there
I am very fond of Smart colours and have used them lots of times in the past. Unfortunatly though I have a complaint to make. My hair is dark brown, and i fancied a change so i bought 3 packs of the chocolate and blonde duo colour (my hair is just below shoulder length but very thick). My hair where it had been coloured previously, had mostly grown out, and what hadn't was dyed back to my original colour at least three months before, so plenty of time for the colour to settle and the box said it colours even the darkest shades. Anyways, i cut of a small amount of hair from the back of my head, following the instructions, left on for the maximum time, and the hair had turned a lovely blonde shade, so i proceeded to put the colours through my hair, with help from my mum, only after the maximum development time, my hair was blonde and bright orange.
I was very upset and had to pay £58 to go to the hairdressers to get the colour fixed, and it is now a nice colour.
Like I said before, I love Smart colours and often buy from the website or from Superdrug, and have used them with confidence before, but i am left wondering if i did something wrong or if there was something wrong with the hair dye itself, as this particular time i had ordered online, but it was delivered unboxed with a note saying there were no boxes left, but it's putting me off using Smart products again.

I hope to hear from you soon, and look forward to your reply.
    With Thanks

So far no reply from either despite their website saying within 2 working days so i've just sent off an angry reply. It really gets on my nerves when companies dont have the decency to acknowledge a complaint.

Contacted ASDA a few weeks ago about some crockery we bought a few months back...all the cups have started to develop cracks in them and one split when I put hot water in it to make a brew.

Anyways...recevied an apology letter from them yesterday and a £20 gift card! :j

I bought some chicken dippers recently and when putting them on the baking tray noticed a fly encrusted in the batter eww! I am going to write them a letter, do you think I should send the dipper or would it start to smell when it's defrosted? Thanks.

Thats pretty disgusting... I would keep it frozen, but send them a picture. If you are feeling mean talk about food standards or something for that little bit extra ;-).

My dads partner found a fingernail in once and got £50 back from a sarah lee cake thing.

Emailed them via the breville website, and they said blah blah sorry...., its never happened before, many happy customers! yeah right!

Anyone know who I should contact high up? Chief Exec or similar?

Ive also found other people backing this up on some review webistes too
