Complaint Letter Successes

Ive complained a few times but for genuine reasons.
Im going to complain soon actually- Few weeks ago i bought a box thing from kfc, cost 4.75 with a large drink. It had a chicken burger in, i asked for extra mayo and no lettuce. Oh it had mayo alright, it had red sauce on it too!. And it was nearly 11pm and i was closer to another kfc and i took it there, said i was not happy at all and i would like a refund. Instead they give me some left over chicken which wasnt even cooked and i threw in the bin.
Im also going to make one to toni&guy. I had some ghds which i bought last year and i had the original reciept etc. And i rang up, they said bring them here. So 2 days later i did. Said i shouldnt bring em there but because i had they would send em off, took the bag i bought it in (ghd) and the packaging. And said would take around 2 weeks. I had a call the day after saying i could either go pick the reciept up or have it sent through post, i said post as it would cost 8 pounds just to get there & back. I have still not recieved my reciept. And when i recieved my ghds, the box was badly damaged, she did not give me a bag and was really snotty with me the receptionist was. And i will also be contacting ghd to see if they would be willing to send me a packaging for my ghds as they have no box.
Does anyone have a contact for toni&guy or ghds email address? Thank you.0 -
NoWell just closed up a big complaint with BT spanning 7 months...
£85 refund on a £144 line rental for a year = £59! Bargin (and the line was working the whole time just major issues setting it up in the first place).0 -
I took a 3 month old printer back to a very well known computer shop because it had simply stopped working. I was told that it would have to be sent of for repair. I wasnt overtly happy about this but went along with it as they said it would only take a week and they would ring me when it was ready.
2 weeks passed..... i went back to the shop and my printer was still in excactly the same place that i had left it, being a humorous chap i found this quite funny until i was told by the member of staff i would have to wait for it to be sent of for repair, again!!
I then politely but firmly asked to speak to the manager, the member of staff looked like id just asked for his right arm. However, the manager did arrive and listened to my polite complaint. He was extremely helpful and said i could have another printer of the same value and take it that day. i then found one that was £30 more expensive i liked and asked if i could pay the difference and have that one instead. He took the printer to the till and did a straight swap and refused the £30. i left a very happy man.0 -
No - but it should be moved to another boardGood for you Geezer!
It just goes to show that being polite but firm can have a better effect when making a complaint face to face - you show you mean business, they know you wont stand for any of their nonsense.0 -

I used the local KFC drive thru a few weeks ago & had to wait for 45 minutes for the order. Not happy. When I got home, part of the order was missing. Very unhappy. I wrote to the manager, explaining what had happened (quoted the till receipt number) and a week later I received a letter of apology & was offered a free family feast meal, I just had to show the letter to the assistant who was serving.0 -

KFC have gotten beyond a joke to be honest. Im going to complain over a few reasons. Slowness, rudeness, un hygienic. Food is not cooked properly on a number of occasions.0 -
Noi am currently at school and i normaly go sainburys or the chip shop to eat. So a group of my freinds went into sainsburys. We went to a section which had chicken and currys. i saw soem vegtiable sprigns rolld. I though i would try them. So i bought two. But teh problem was the spring rolls were ICE COLD. Ordered some flowers online on Thursday for delivery Friday from Marks & Spencers, for my grandmother's birthday. Got a phone call on Friday saything they'd had an error and now wouldnt be able to deliver until Saturday. I politely pointed out that was no good as it wouldn't be her birthday then. He rang off and called me back shortly, having arranged for the store local to her to make up the flowers at their shop, and send them out to her by taxi. He said they would try to keep the same arrangement, but if not it would be for the same or higher value, and they would copy across the message for the gift card. Couple hours later, phone call from the local store because she wasn't in - so the taxi was having problems delivering and none of her neighbours would take them for her (!)... they took the number of her daughter-in-law a couple of streets away and then delivered to her house instead for me. The first chap to call me then called me later to make sure I knew what was happening with the local store and to keep me updated.
Talk about an absolutely great customer service response to their error - I was very impressed, and my grandmother loved the flowers (which was the same arrangement I had ordered).
Big thumbs up to M&S Flowers.Debt - Loan: £1150 C/C: £4763 @ 0%.0 -
