Well they are not a charity... if they sent out free stamps to everyone how on earth would they make any money... daft request got a suitable reply in my opinion... :rolleyes:0 -

I think your email probably gave them a good laugh in the office that morning! (Did you really expect free stamps?)

Re your other complaint issue, it's up to you whether or not to complain. If you feel so strongly about it, then just send them a letter explaining what happened.0 -
NoHi, following some 'issues' my wife and I had with Dolphin I composed and sent a 6 page letter of complaint to their Customer Services Director. I specifically requested details for the Director as I didn't want to mess around with buck passing minions (being a minion myself and having worked in a customer service capacity for a few years). This was posted Saturday 11th April 2008, no acknowledgement or reply yet. At the same time I advised them of a faulty light, same response to that.
Now, either they are carefully investigating and composing their own response, or they don't give a monkeys. I shall wait another week and see.Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.0 -
NoMy wife and I were at the airport, srating our honeymoon, only to find that the airline (for the 24 hours flight) had not been informed she was vegetarian. she always makes a point of telling them for this very reason. So, our honeymoon started extremely stressed, the airline did their best, given they had had no notice.
The company who booked the flights for us was Travelbag, so I wrote them either a letter of complaint or an email equivalent. They called back, were apologetic and offered absolutely nothing. Given we had just spent over £1500 with them, I think their service was disgusting.Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.0 -
NoI HAD A VERY POOR VISIT TO MY LOCAL BREWERS FAYRE A FEW WEEKS AGO. I SENT AN EMAIL TO THEIR HEAD OFFICE EXPLAINING THE DROP IN STANDARDS ETC. THE NEXT DAY I HAD A PHONE CALL FROM THE MANAGER WHO WAS VERY NICE AND MADE NO EXCUSES. THIS MORNING I RECEIVED A VOUCHER FOR £25 TO USE AT ANY BRANCH OF BREWERS FAYRE BUT A LOVELY NOTE SAYING SHE HOPED I WOULD GIVE HER ESTABLISHMENT ANOTHER CHANCE. MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE WAS WRITTEN VERY POLITELY AND I WAS NOT RUDE. PERHAPS THIS PAYS DIVIDENDS:beer:0
