I always complain when I get aweful service, and encourage others to as well: On the other hand I'll always compliment a company if they really impress me. My best successes were probably
    * $300 in airline vouchers for shocking service and a flight delayed by 24 hours
    * £50 airline voucher for being spoken to rudely by a member of staff
    * £150 cheque and a case of wine for VERY bad customer service from a bank

I find that a truthful, well structured letter is always the best way to get your point across. I normally write to the company, indicating that I expect a response in the mail (They can include the vouchers in their letter then ;))

I would definately write a letter: I think this looks more thoughtful and considered. I find that letters are taken more seriously.

  • I sent an e-mail to merlin entertainment group to complain that I had not been advised when we brought our passes at the end of last season that Merlin were planning to add loads more parks to the pass at the start of the new season.

I only found out because they sent me a letter telling me about all the benifits new pass holders would get. It also said on the letter that if you all ready had a pass you could not up grade and had to wait till next year.

This got me so cross, as we often visit Lego land.

To cut a long story short they offered us 4 new anual passes for just £45. I now have an anual pass for my son even though he didn't have one before. I was also really pleased as the new passes were isued with a full year on them so we managed to get 16 months park use for four people for just £45. :j

WOW you are really lucky to get 4 passes for 45.00!!! Mine cost 330 for 3 passes, however i got them via tesco clubcard deals. I didnt get a letter about all the new parks included, only new of legoland and sealife. What parks did they say would be included? maybe they will be adding them next year ???

has anyone ever complained to Sky?

We had a man round yesterday and we were thinking of getting sky anyway. to cut a long story short we were sold a sky plus box & 4 mixes he then said we could get the movies free for 3 months, broadband & talk time for what he siad £18 a month. Great so far........

we were busy today so tonight we sat and read the customer copy he had left us which said that we were to pay £28 a month & not only that he had himself put my dads initials where it said initial if you are satisfied. fraud yes???

rang sky & she said on the phone that we had chose teh movies explaind that he siad that was free for 3 months she had no idea, told us to ring him so he could confirm what he had offered us he left no contact details she said he should have, then she said that the 4 mixes, broadband & talk time was £19 not £18.

Sorry sooo long winded but it continues they have no customer service number only an address to write to.

We really want to get it sorted before Saturday when they are coming to fit it. Any advice?
    thanks Littlemo
