Not much considering we spent £80 - but I am glad they are taking my complaint seriously
Well done!
I complained too because me and a friend had a rubbish service once.
They sent me £15 vouchers which I will share with my friend.
Brilliant response from Pizza Hut.
I didn't get any result from Boots or Mothercare.
I may write to the Head Office rather than email. In charge of a tight budget for a family of 50 -

I went with my family (10 of us) to Frankie & Bennies restaurant and had a dreadfull time with bad, slow service, filthy table, lost booking and much much more. I wrote to the MD, who replied within a week offering us another meal as his guests. This was very generous as the bill was well into 3 figures, and included all food and drinks. Well done Frankie & Bennies.

No(Not sure if this belongs here!!)
I was looking for a hotel outside of Newcastle last year and there were 3 hotels within the same parking lot- A brewers fayre type stylee, a Novotel, and one other which i forget...
Anyway, the brewers fayre one was £69 per night for a double room and we went into the Novotel to compare prices...the foyer was being re-done and they obviously didn't have a lot of business, and when we asked the room rates we said that it was too expensive. The lovely person at the desk then asked what price we were looking for, and we ended up getting it for the same price as the awful one across the road, including an AMAZING breakfast :T
Just goes to show, if you don't ask, you don't get :jDebt Nov 07: £10k give or take
Debt July 09: £0 :T
Back to uni September 09 (2 year course)
Aim: try and keep debt to a minimum :eek:0 -

No - but the title needs to changeMy first post!! (irrelevant I know!)
Ordered 3 ink cartridges from Viking Direct on 18th Feb & paid for 48hr delivery. Carriage of £3.50 refunded as goodwill on 22nd, cus of no show (and couldn't print a thing I needed to for a week!). Still nothing by 25th, despite several phone calls (0844...), so rang AGAIN and was told driver had knocked a few times last week (lies lies lies!) I cancelled the order instead of re-ordering, as offered. That afternoon the courier turned up with my ink and said he HADN'T come in previous week and only in my area on a Friday anyway! Let them chase me for the payment now!
Will simply get my ink in Tesco from now on, as I should have and would have done in the first place, but for Viking's special offer0 -
NoFound a hair in Go Ahead fruit bar. Wrote in and sent the offending chunk of Go Ahead complete with hair and received £12.00 worth of McVities vouchers.0

I can't take the credit for this one myself, but it happened to my friend. She saw an article in the daily mail about this limited edition vodka that was being sold in a diamonte bottle, apparently it cost 12.99 from Selfridges, anyway, just before Christmas my friend went up London and popped into Selfridges to buy this posh bottled vodka, only to discover that it was indeed on sale, but at a far greater cost!
My friend didn't buy the vodka, and instead decided to write a letter of complaint to the manufacturers explaining how she had gone all the way up to London and not too mention the reaction of the snooty shop assistant when she failed to purchase the vodka.
Anyway, she forgot all about it until a couple of weeks ago, she came home from work and found a package on her doorstep, it was a letter from the manufacturers appologising for the misunderstanding plus a complimentary bottle (full size) of the posh voddy! what a result! :Twhat goes around, comes around...........0
