  • I complained to pampers because when my daughter was ill, her nappys kept leaking as soon as she had watery poo poo, I didnt expect them to absorb but at least hold it in whilst I changed it! But nooo, they kept leaking, i had to throw out loads of trousers and vests. I got a massive £12 voucher to buy more of their same products, and was told I was using the wrong size....no i dont think so.

I complained to SKY (at least I tried to), through their online feedback system about some problems I had with ordering broadband back in June. Each time I submitted a complaint I would first get an email to say that they had received it and then 2 days later another email to say there was a problem with their online system and to re-submit the complaint. I did this 12 times with the same result! When I called them about this, customer services told me that they had no record of my emails and that I have to wait until I had an email back!! Which didn't make sense to me as they kept sending me emails to re-submit my complaint (but the lady in the call centre - India - and believe me I am not prejudice as I am Indian myself but she really didn't get it).
Anyway, I finally obtained an email address and wrote to complain about this and my orginal complaint!!! LOL :rotfl:

I received an email 2 days later to apologise and that £50 has been credited to my account.
I was happy with this result but it was very frustrating and waste of time to keep sending my complaints! :T
  • Had an awful experience with Frankie and Benny's this evening. Over £30 the meal cost the two of us which wouldn'tof been tooooo bad, if my OH's jacket potato wasn't still frozen in the middle, her chicken cold, my chicken also cold and my corn on the cob burnt.

I was that angry, for the first time ever i have thought about sending a letter of complaint, and was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with F&B's and if they sent a letter?

I am not in it for anything free, or vouchers, would just like to vent really.

    Any help appreciated.

Last week I got a free £10 of shopping from Lidl after ringing their Head Office to complain about a member of staff in December. I thought that they had forgotten all about it (as I had!) until the Area Manager rang me and told me to go collect a £10 goody bag that evening. When I mentioned I was a veggie, she told me to go pick the £10 of goods myself - result!
Just completed my one-time IVA :D
  • I have had quite a bit of success simply praising products that I think are due some, and also giving the odd suggestion of improving etc. I usually send a nice e-mail with my address & phone number in my signature 'just incase'.

I usually receive vouchers with a nice letter, along with a few freebie products. I don't do it just for the freebies but I think if something is good you should let them know what you think

(and also if its bad, let them know too!)

Talking of bad, does anyone know an e-mail address for 'Head & Shoulders'?
I don't know if im the only one that is appalled at the new style bottles?
Not only does the new fragrance smell like im washing my hair with Veet hair removal cream (same sickly smell) but the new bottle's cap is really sharp and I have cut my finger trying to open (skin nice and soft / delicate due to showering)

    Nice to hear everyone's experiences!
    Keep em coming!
    ;)

In October 2007 I signed up for Identity protection alert and also to receive my free credit reports. This cost me £4.99 per month and it stated clearly that once signed up for this it couldn't be cancelled for a year. Unfortunately I couldn't access my credit reports because someone in the office had put a full stop after my surname and after several phone calls this wasn't resolved so I wrote a letter explaining what had happened and I asked for a refund for the last 4 months. Success, I got 4 months subscription refunded and now the agreement has been cancelled as well.

Once I complained to Barclays of bad service from a member of staff and a month later or so I received a choclate box in the post as a way to say thank you.

Good luck with all your complaint letters.
