A few weeks ago i rang Tesco cs to complain that a third of the ready to roast beef joint I'd bought was blue fat and grissle (I hadn't seen this until I started to carve it because of the way it was rolled). This bit had to go inthe bin, leaving us short for our Sunday roast. They looked into it and sent a £5 voucher, one penny more than the rrp. Fair enough.

Today was best though. Not a letter but after a very inconvenient problem with our prior booking to take eight boys 10pin bowling, i thought I'd ask if there was any chance of having a free sweet for each of them to take home. Without hesitation, the member of staff disappeared and returned a minute later with 8 of the venue's party bags, each packed with branded sweets, chocolate and a voucher for a free game! Even DH (who was a bit frazzled by the end of a single game for 8 children) was impressed!

Hi, thanks for this. I was hoping for a uk address though, im not sure whether to complain to USA or not? Its a long way to complain too. Its about the smashbox photo finish bottles.

By the way i but it from ebay! half the price! watch how to use it on QVC then buy on ebay! :rotfl:

Write to the head offices of a company if you have a complaint rather than complaining instore - this way you dont embarase yourself at the time and your more likely to get a larger freeby!! try pizza hut, mcdonalds, tgi fridays and hotel chains for this - all work and hotel ones are the best as they give you free weekends away etc

I got £5 in vouchers from muller this morning and a cheque for £20 from nestle because i had mouldy chocolate.:j

I recently had a terrible meal and service in Pizza Express Cardiff. I wrote and complained and they sent me £25 in vouchers, result!
