No - but the title needs to changei complained to Sainsbury's yesterday as they have overcharged me every week for a month..only by a couple of pence each time so i would have been too embarrassed to complian in store, I also complianed about the lack of free range chickens available especially following media coverage, got a nice apology via email today and £6.00 credit to my nectar card..more than happy!0

NoI have just sent a complaining email to Dell. I'm not expecting anything off them, but I was annoyed and wanted to explain the incompetence of their couriers.
Hi,
Thanks for the the phone number, I have called the couriers and I will be collecting the laptop myself. As they only deliver in the daytime, and I work full time and cannot take another day off to wait at home (when they may not even arrive). Collecting it myself is the only way I can ensure I will get the item,
However, I think this is very poor customer service. I paid £60 for delivery, and took a day off work (unpaid!) specially on Monday to stay at home to receive the laptop as arranged. It didn't turn up, and now I have to leave work early tomorrow and catch a bus quite a long way to go and collect the laptop. This is a round trip of about two hours!
I bought the laptop from Dell following recommendation from a friend, and because I thought it would be more convenient. What is the point of buying from Dell when I have to travel to collect the item myself? I'm really unimpressed by the service I've received. I may as well just go to a high street store in future.0 -

Wasnt sent via ParcelForce by any chance
I received a £4 Loyds Grossman voucher after i almost broke a tooth on something in one of their sauces.
Baileys and Coca Cola both ignored complaints :mad:0 -
NoGot a wishy washy reply from Dell, saying it was just one of those things!
I paid £60 for delivery, a service I am getting nothing from. Can I take this any further or should I just let it go?
I never usually buy things off the internet and this experience has put me off doing so again.0 -
NoI would definitely persevere! That just isn't on. I had a similar problem with Amazon, who tried to fob me off with a vague apology, and I just kept on at them until they gave me the fair compensation.
Maybe write a letter to someone more senior/phone them?Quidco - £33.95, Pigsback £7.79 (£20 claimed)

NoI will write to them I think, but who should I address it to?
I'm not very good on the phone, and also calls to Dell aren't included in my free minutes, don't really want to use up more of my time and money with them.0 -
I recently complained to Argos as I paid for Saturday delivery which is between 7am-3pm, got up early incase they arrived at 7ish and they didn't turn up all day. Phoned the courier company and they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered so cancelled the order and got someone to pick up the item instore. A few days later I got home from work and a completely different item (same order no.) had been left on my doorstop. After many phonecalls received £20 gift vouchers which I was well pleased with on a £60 item. Just shows is worth persisting.Quidco: Paid £2,244.90
TCB: Paid £342.820 -
NoHere's the address for Dell in this link:

Although when I googled Dell customer services every result except 1 were reports about how bad their customer services are, so maybe this won't help much. I doubt I would buy with them ever after reading your story though!
Good luck.Quidco - £33.95, Pigsback £7.79 (£20 claimed)

I complained to PC World, tech guys and the group who owns pc world - their name escapes me about a terrible situation where they promised me the return of my hard drive and then skipped it and the CS that followed including being laughed at by a store manager... I sent the same 9 page letter to all three (trust me it was a very long story and a lot of bad customer service). I asked for a letter back wanting an explanation why this was allowed to happen.
I got a £50 cheque in the post today BUT no letter, no nothing even mentioning why which im really annoyed about. I wanted them to at least apologise so I am going to contact them again. I spent days and days on this and they could have at least sent a letter
I got my complaint letter reply in the post today and they did apologise and said they will be following up with relevant depts as to why it happened and so it doesnt happen again.
I guess I cant say fairer than that.0
