My partner and I went to pizza hut for one of those buffet lunches, we were not offered a drink the whole time we were there.

Previously we went to this perticular branch for dinner, once we were seated we sat there for ages with no drink, order nothing we walked out.

I wrote a complaint letter and they have sent me £15 in vouchers, I am pleased.

I contacted Au Naturale via their comments link recently to tell them my daughters had both purchased jewellery items that had been of poor quality and had broken easily. Today, both my daughters received £10 gift vouchers each!

    Hi all,,

Just reading through your posts and thinking I should of made a complaint.

    This is a long one.

I went into woolworths a few months ago to return a faulty item (baby leap pad) I did not have the reciept, but had the original large woolworths bag and the full packaging for the item, the box still had the original woolworths price stickers, the old chap, would not accept it as a return as I had no reciept, I told him I dont have the reciept so Im not expecting cash refund, but I know I am entitled to vouchers or exchange, he said "NO",, He said as I didnt have the reciept I could not return it as I could not prove it was purchased from woolworths, it could be from anywhere, he kicked up a real fuss.

I said to him,, how can it be from any store its plastered with woolworth stickers as large as you can imagine.

After a good 20 minutes he decided to refund me but on one of the woolworth cards not in paper vouchers.

    I accepted.

a number of weeks later i popped into the same woolworths store to purchase a birthday pressie for my little girl as I hade over £40.00 on the woolworths card from the previous refund.

I got to the till and when I came to pay,I gave the SA the woolworths card, he swiped it through a couple of times then called for the assistant next to him that just happened to be the same chap from my last bad encounter.

He swiped the card and then said "sorry system is down so you cant pay useing this card"

I told him, I want to pay useing the credit on that card as I didnt really want to py cash or use my credit card when I had credit on their refund card so I asked if he had any idea if the system would be up and running any time soon as I could hang around the shop for a while and try again.

He said, no, I would have to pay either cash or credit card as system was down and no idea if it will be up and running again that same day.

So as I passed him my credit card and I made the comment of how it was silly to refund customers on a woolworths card as it means I am not free to use that credit as and when I want, I wasnt happy to have to pay when I already had credit on the woolworths card.

I said that refunds should have been done in vouchers then all this would be prevented.

OMG... you should have heard this chap his tone of voice, and his attitude was disgusting, he told me i would have had the choice at the time to have the refund on the woolworths card or in vouchers, I told him no i didnt, He insisted I did.

I told him it was himself that had processed the original refund and that he did not give me the choice.

He responded with, he did no such thing, completely denying it.

I told him, i would not make something silly like this up.

I was almost in tears, as he began to shoo me out of the shop...

I was upset for many days after the incident and at the time I took his name,

But I left it, but every time I think back to what happened I really wish I had of made a complaint.

The only thing that stops me now is because I cant remember the exact date of the incident.

Wish I could remember the date, He really shouldnt of got away with the way he spoke to me and my mum.

    Hi,

    I would complain!

Write down what has happened, and see what reply you get. Mention in the letter how disappointed you are with the service, and that you have been a loyal customer of Woolies for X years, and would certainly reconsider going there in future if that is how they train their staff! Also mention that they are promoting the gift cards, and how easy it would have been if you were offered a paper voucher.

I wrote to Ragu after finding glass in their pasta sauce, i sent a letter and the glass and they said it was a manufacturing fault and the sent me £50 cheque

I bought a huge bar of cadburys dairy milk and it had white speckles on it, I wrote and sent the whole bar of chocolate, it cost me £8 to send, The apologuised and sent me £20 of cadbury vouchers and another bar of chocolate.

Also from cadbury, I bought a assorted multi-pack of cadbury snack size chocolate, on opening them i found a few empty but sealed packs of dairy milk buttons, I wrote and sent the empty sealed pack and the sent me 50 bags of dairy milk buttons and £20 voucher.
